Also I think the Blekinge coast might be better than the Scanian west coast if you like sunshine as well as heat. Slightly cooler summer temps, and I guess spring temps, but warmer falls, and Karlskrona has been averaging above 2100h since the station's inception in 2008 Karlskrona is not in the monthly reports for temps, correct? I'll have to Open-Data them averages for temps and compare them to Karlshamn and Ronneby for the corresponding years I guess... I don't think Karlskrona has a temp station. Only a sun station in the archepelago

Normality has been restored to San Francisco after a super-hot September by their standards and the afterglow of an above-average October also. November actually got very moderate, with no days above 20.0°C.

Moscow: La Laguna (Tenerife North): Vigo Airport: Nowt special in particular, besides those Spanish locations are unusually dry for the season and Moscow had very low diurnals.

Vindeln (most similar station to Tavelsjö where I live now) 2017 so far. Brrr. Just edited the normals box and forgot to change the means, so they are normal means.

^ Jesus fucking Christ, never thought I'd see a Northern Hemisphere climate where May's mean is only about 1/4th of the way between January and July lol, though I think I remember you mentioning May was remarkably cold in Northern Finland this year.

It was cold, but around 2.5C colder than normal. Of course Saana is a very special location. Here's the fell in blue and white (of course):

Eureka continued to have miserable shoulder seasons this year, unluckily also Météo Climat couldn't find rainfall figures for 15 days in November or thereabouts so had to use Wunderground for it, but should work regardless. Those numbers matched fairly well proportionally with what San Francisco got corresponding to normals. I'm skeptical of the September record high since NOAA said within the 87°F range, but I guess, locally somewhere within Eureka that 33.4°C temp might have occurred... who knows?

I actually feel faint looking at that table. Fuckin' hell. How can anyone live there California Liberals seem to live there Having said that, Eureka had an unusually bad winter last year. Normally it rains far less. Also, the Beerman-esque daytime heatwaves of Willow Creek are only 50 km away by car

Wow. Holmön hasn't had nearly as bad of a year as the mainland holy shit. May-August even saw above average highs in Holmön when Umeå and Tavelsjö averaged like -1.5'C deviations. Holmön, believe it or not, both had a higher average high in August and just 0.2'C cooler in July, and AMAZINGLY they had a higher record high. A fucking island had a higher record high than on the mainland wtf.

2017 so far. November had close to average temps, was drier and cloudier than normal.

It seems like Erzurum has been very cold in 2017 during last winter - probably colder than Göle A bit of nothing in terms of November though, but unusually spectacular during winter and summer:

Madeira had an "indoor" month at sea level after a long and unusually sustained but also unusally maritime heatwave there. I'd love a month like that now... 23/19 averages. Yummy! I'd prefer to spend summer at 200-300 metres elevation to be fair though

Bored in class. Boke! Vitoria-Gasteiz in Basque Country had a significant cooldown from a very flat summer! I inserted 14 hours of sunshine for June since it was the norm for sunny days and the absent day was that very 41.9°C day! What??? What do you think of that year Babu ?
