If you go a page up and look at Funchal, you'd find a climate even comfier if you rose a couple hundreds of metres in elevation to moderate the lows (easily doable on that island) Judging by the temps on the ground, probably I'd enjoy the climate at the more elevated location of 700-800m. It's a fantastic island indeed!

Also, strange the low rainfall for such a cloudy October so near the Atlantic Ocean. As far as Nantes years go, it's quite perfect though. Maybe misses a fraction of September warmth

Apart from that January, that place wasn't bad at all this year May much warmer than Sep...certainly a continental climate, as one could expect in southern Siberia. Summer was not bad at all. But Jan, Feb, Sep, Oct and Nov too cold.
