Up to 24 consecutive days with rain now with rain falling on 34 of the past 35 days. This is pure hell. It wouldn't be so bad if temps were around normal as the mountains would get snow. Unfortunately, we've been stuck in a warm/wet pattern of late; consequently, the local mountain snowpack has been decemated. <iframe width="16.100000000000023" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 16.1px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 0px; top: 0px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_70713720"></iframe> <iframe width="16.100000000000023" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 16.1px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 749px; top: -154px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_65674704"></iframe> <iframe width="16.100000000000023" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 16.1px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 10px; top: -14px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_46515697"></iframe> <iframe width="16.100000000000023" height="3.8799999999999955" style="position: absolute; width: 16.1px; height: 3.88px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 749px; top: -14px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_30164402"></iframe> I hate this pattern too. Fortunately it looks like there's gonna be a change after this weekend. Maybe a change for you guys is coming too?

California gets fucked over by the ensuing drought, Vancouver gets fucked over by the endless parade of rain, Northeast US gets fucked by endless cold blasts and polar vortexes...the Western Ridge truly has to be the shittiest weather phenomenon ever

Seems like we're stuck in a never ending loop.

21 out of the last 23 days had precipitation! This is now officially the wettest winter ever at Orly airport.
Quite the UHI right now that the sky has finally cleared; currently 0.5°C in the Latin Quarter vs -7.9°C in NW suburban Pontoise.

I have a horrible feeling that this year will be a repeat of 2014 with a horrible cold spring and another boring crummer to follow up. Southeast Ridge and the Warm Atlantic is our only remaining hope, cause with that Cali Ridge we're absolutely FUCKED

Just shoveled some snow and it was like shoveling wet concrete mix. Good exercise!
32 F/0 C with freezing rain and fog

ugh. can't get a decent snowstorm this year. turned to sleet at 3, rain around 4:30 or 5. pretty snow and the hassle of messy roads got ruined by an ice storm.
COLD COLD COLD a few of inches of snow… RAIN COLD
ok, a few days of mild, but WASTE OF WINTER. just go to 50 and melt everything. did in southeast Massachuesetts

There were a couple of tornado warnings in my area last night with storms along cold front that came thru early this morning. It looks like the strong storms missed me as I only got 0.09" of rain overnight, though thunder woke me up at 4 AM.
Periods of cold rain during the day today with temp in the low 40's. Kind of annoying that the high was 69F today because of the early morning hours before frontal passage.

I just want this rainy s***fest to end and skip straight to summer.
