Don't like the southward shift in the precipitation tomorrow. Looks like mild Wainy Wundon will have a bunch of precipitation wasted on it while the places that could get real snow depths will miss the worst of the band.

Winter Weather Advisory finally issued here. Not sure what they were waiting for when a few inches of snow was being forecasted by yesterday. 2-4 inches expected. Currently 29 F/-2 C and snowing.

Almost back home from the Ukrainian event.. snowing nice here just like in Philadelphia.. so it wasn't a bust after all, and I still went to my thing with family. Good winter day  |

lots of dry surface air made it harder for the snow to start
overcame the dry air. started for me around 11:30 ; was coming down hard at 12:30; now it's getting lighter

Wow, it's been about 10 hours since the first snowflakes began falling, and it hasn't stopped since. Still really coming down out there!

snow settling on Mt. Washington. Fluffy winter wonderland. Normally it gets blasted away, leaving a thin icy crust. Looks like winds will pick up tomorrow to 35-50 mph with wind chills -15°F and below. Would be a fun snowshoe otherwise
