So far this month Melbourne, FL is averaging 73.4 (23 C). The last 4 days are all supposed to be hot so there should be almost no change.
This is not only the warmest February ever by almost 3 F but it would also be the warmest MARCH ever. Also, out of 80 APRILS, this February is the 16th warmest so far.
Meanwhile, Rochester is tied with 2012 for 10th warmest February through 24 days. However, the final 4 days are all supposed to be in the 50s, so there should be no problem breaking top 5.

It will be interesting to see how many sunshine hours we'll get for February. It's felt like quite a sunny month, though it could mostly be due to the last seven days being blue dome skies.

Looks unseasonably mild to close out the month. 9C, 12C, and 14C highs to close out the month!
By average highs and by average temperatures, this is already the 9th warmest February on record in Bunghole. Throw in today's 42F high, and then 15F+ anomalies for the next three days, and this February will look legendary. Maybe in the top-5 if we're lucky
After two terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Februaries in 2014 and 2015, the past three Februaries have all been super warm! All three among the warmest on record

@kronan , Nikkaluokta reached -40.2'C on the 4th of February according to Vackertvรคder though. Strange. Infoclimat also agrees with ogimet that the minimum was -39.8'C

Past three days have all had highs of 85 F (29 C), could very easily be 23-25 April instead of 23-25 February.
As of 11 AM, the temp is already 83 F (28 C), very good chance the temp will overshoot 30 C today.

If even the FMI puts out freeze warnings things must be serious: yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/warning_of_dangerously_cold_temps_from_monday_to_wednesday/10091942"News 25.2.2018 18:12 | updated 25.2.2018 18:18 Warning of dangerously cold temps from Monday to Wednesday The Finnish Meteorological Institute says frigidly cold temperatures are in store for most of the lower half of Finland starting Monday evening and continuing until Wednesday.
The combination of cold temperatures and a hard north-easterly wind are expected to make weather conditions in Finland feel like -20 degrees Celsius in the south, -25 in central areas and -30 in the north.

Torch to close out the month. A more seasonable pattern next week. No below average temps anywhere in the forecast

High hit 87 F (31 C) at HWO, but "only" 83 F (28 C) and 84 F (29 C) respectively at FLL and FXE. Likely to not go higher as it has clouded over and there's rain in a lot of areas.
If it would have stayed sunny, 90 F (32 C) at HWO would have been a possibility.

NYC has never had a March stay above freezing. No freezing temperatures in the forecast for NYC at all. Would be nice if this was the March without a freeze
We have gone an entire November and December without making a freeze before (thanks, El Niรฑo!) so would be nice for March to do the same

NYC has never had a March stay above freezing. No freezing temperatures in the forecast for NYC at all. Would be nice if this was the March without a freeze Weโve only had 3 marches (1903, 1942, 2010) without an ice day lol. Would be impossible to not get a freeze in March. Hell, only one April hasnโt had a freeze here and that was 140 years ago. Shows how much warmer NYC is. Not an issue for me since I donโt mind cold nights, but an average high in the 50s or even high 40s and a few days in the 70s would be great.
