Odd assortment of temps in Adelaide today. Look at the overnight lows in particular. Parawa West, Hindmarsh Is. and Strathabyn are the hottest atm, all of which infact are polar troll stations. map

A hazy and humid day here today, by the local standard -all that rain in the ground is leading to some serious cloud buildup.
The grass was already soaked from the dew, well before dark.

effin camera let down! -pursing a day of boganistic hedonism down at the drags, drinking 9% Dutchie beers and imbibing herb on the side line, but the camera is poked. Clouds of blue smoke and a hot sun day - back home now with a few extras, for a drinking session.
Off to Aussie in 7 days.

so it was raining when the relative humidity was 28%?! Must have a lot of rain that was falling evaporate mid-fall with surface temperatures at 34°C. Obviously didn't last long.

That's a nice subtropical forecast right there. Pretty much my ideal weather, and been getting some rain with it as well. Just getting a few 50 cent sized raindrops at the moment. Too bad I have to leave here and head back to Shepparton, where the warm weather is just an impediment -I enjoy the hot temps there, from the moment I knock off for the day, but would be happy with working temps a few degrees cooler. A coworker texted me yesterday, and said by the time they stopped picking peaches for the day, it was 42C.

Yes similar forecast for Auckland, although a bit grim Its strange, it feels as though we are one month ahead in terms of our current weather, for example in December we had plenty of sunshine and the nights were a few degrees cooler, but in comparison January has been a lot more humid and cloudy with warmer nights, which is usually more of a February/March thing.

Some warmer nights coming up thank God. Observatory Hill has seen eight consecutive sub-20C nights, even down to 14.8C, and it's been colder in the west. Not a common occurrence, it felt more autumnal than like summer.
