Low this morning was 70 F (21 C) and the high today is meant to be 85 F (29 C). Boring fucking weather.

There was a big warm front overnight and it got all the way up to 59 (15 C) at 6 AM!
Much cooler now though.
Tomorrow through next Wednesday looks dreadful with highs of 35 (2 C) every fucking day and snow. After that it finally is supposed to get back to the 50s, but of course with rain.

Down to 35 (2 C) now. Just had a brief snow squall, then back to blue skies and now itโs overcast again.
Highest wind gust seems to be 62 mph so far, sustained winds 35-50 mph.
Todayโs been more interesting than all of March lol.

4.3ยฐC, cloudy with showers/light rain, gusty.
It sure cooled down fast, from the high of 9.2ยฐC. Going to have another air frost overnight.

After this weekend it looks like yet more icy easterly winds are on the horizon. Highs down to 10-11c after mid-April.
Zero sign of spring.

An easterly wind shouldn't really be all that cold any more. The nearby continent is warming fast and there are high positive temperature anomalies forecast there on the ECM. The north sea will limit temperatures for the east coast but it could be decent inland.

I'm beginning to have asthma. Hopefully it will continue to rain regularly until the birch pollen season is over. Current birch pollen map, getting there. Btw, tomorrow is forecasted to be 13ยฐC and cloudy vs 22ยฐC and sunny on Friday. I think twenties with sun will feel unreal. Meanwhile the high will be a mere 16ยฐC in Nice. Serves them right for having actual summers.

The north sea will limit temperatures for the east coast but it could be decent inland. It generally looks bad, looking at all of the model outputs. No sign of any typical settled April weather; it's all showers and below average temperatures, and a huge shortage of sun. It really does feel like spring will never actually arrive. WTF is this shit?

Rainfall chance has been upped to 50% for tomorrow - good God I hope we get something. I drove right by a wildfire a few mins ago on the highway some reeds and shrubs were lit up...

Four days into April and we've only had 1.5 hours of sunshine but 76% of our entire monthly average rainfall (55.4 mm) Some of the fields outside town are flooded, that actually happens most winters but it definitely isn't normal in April.

Yes this is the sorriest attempt of "spring" I've ever seen. Even that of 2013 was more "spring like" thanks to the fact it had so much more sun that this, by this point. I love to go for walks in the local area but don't get any enjoyment out of it in cold rain and wind. Makes me feel stuck inside. It's not even so much the cold but also the unsettled bull-shit with it. I want some fucking high pressure at the very least.

Heathrow has had 0.5 hours so far, totally shocking! That after seeing the 3rd cloudiest March on record (after 2013 and 1962). In a normal year you'd be expecting everything to be fully leafed out within 3 weeks, certainly won't happen this year. There's a high chance that we might get to May without seeing 18c, which has never happened before. Which way do you think it'll go this summer? 1986, 1996 or 2006? They all had absolutely shit springs.

I'm actually still hoping for a good summer, it's our turn. I know we've had the same weather patterns last a long time before, but not for six months. Plus we've had so many warm, sunny Aprils turn into non-summers that I'd be getting more worried about the summer if the forecast now was for 15C and sunny every day.

I'd like to see a repeat of 1989 or 1995 as it is well overdue, but I think we will actually have a terrible summer. I'd be happy with a normal summer, as we are massively overdue even a run of average sunshine summers! It's been 13 years since we had a truly sunnier than average summer (2014 had about 20 hours extra), and 10 of the last 13 have been notably below the average (2013 was exactly average, 2005 had an extra 80-90 hours).

Beautiful sunny day today. At last I can go outside and enjoy the local scenery without it feeling like some kind of punishment!

Went below freezing this morning; very clear morning. Wonder what the midlevel temperatures are. Northern New Hampshire will get an ice day today, last of the season?

Got about an inch of snow overnight, itโll probably melt soon though. The airport recorded 0.5โ (1 cm).
Yesterday was by far the most interesting day weather wise in a while: 59/28, a 66 mph wind gust, and 0.1โ of snow.
The forecast has seriously improved...just 2 days of mid 30s, and then getting up to 60 by next weekend WITHOUT RAIN. Letโs hope it doesnโt get downgraded and is the beginning of a trend.

Agree, not as shitty as it was before. And I like rain when its warm summer rain. 40F rain is stupid and annoying
