Low this morning was 71 F (22 C) and the high has been 84 F (29 C), about as boring as boring gets.
This upcoming week looks identical to today too, pretty much every day with highs of 81-84 F (27-29 C) and lows of 68-70 F (20-21 C). Fucking yawn.
Bring on summer. It's not like it's cool anyways, plus I'm sick of dryness.

Too early for summer thunderstorms, and starting to get too late for a true cold snap. Just a really boring "in between" part of the year. I can't wait until it's late May and wet season gets underway. This time of year is exciting at your latitude though. Potential for severe weather and strong cold snaps, and even snow on occasion. I see rain/snow showers on your forecast for Friday and Saturday.

Possible snow for the Southeast, particularly North Carolina next Saturday (April 7th) @tarheelboi Toss... gfs on crack and been swinging violently on temps that day run to run... it shows highs in the 20s lmao. Those are recor dlows for april let alone highs.... never had a high below 40 in april... a high of 29 would be over 40 degrees below average.

Hopefully they postpone the game, baseball is not fun in cold wet conditions

Raleigh has had a high of 34F in April before. Here are the current max temp, anomaly, and precip maps for the afternoon of the 7th:

Low was 67 F (19 C) this morning here, heading to an 82 F (28 C) high for today, which is interesting. As it's already 82 F as of noon. Probably head up to about 85 F or so.
The season of undershooting the predicted high by like 5 F has started apparently. Happens every spring. NWS loves underestimate the power of the sun down here.

Parts of Metro Vancouver saw a bit of snow last night and a widespread freeze. It happened to be the latest freeze of the season since 2011.

43 (6 C) and sunny @2 PM. Actually feels pretty nice out, would have guessed it was 48-50 without checking the temperature.
Next week looks much too cold and boring, but at least itโll be sunny and dry, the next 2 days have better temps but that comes with rainy shit of course.

Nice little storm we got this morning. Looked like a winter wonderland. Yankees and Mets games had to be cancelled today. Of course the snow doesn't stick around for long. I imagine most of it will be gone by tomorrow. Some shaded areas are still retaining some snow cover from the earlier storms. Rain tomorrow with a forecast high of 46 F/8 C. Wednesday is expected to shoot up to 60 F/16 C with thunderstorms possible before temperatures plunge back down to seasonably chilly levels the rest of the week. Last 60 F/16 C day was on February 28th. Last day to go above that was February 21st when we reached 75 F/24 C. Crazy that we couldn't even get to 60 F/16 C in March.

Damn, 5.5 in LaGuardia cool to see. Looks like there might be another storm next Saturday. Hopefully we get a decent snowfall out of that one too. Today actually turned out to be gorgeous, beautiful snow in the morning, and then a sunny chilly afternoon

Still zero sign of typical April settled conditions.
Maybe 1-2 decent days before it's back below average with clouds and rain.

That CFS forecast in the first post of this thread looks totally ridiculous now.
Up there with an Accuweather seasonal forecast.
