Really hot day today - hit a whopping 94 F (34 C) at HWO , 91 F (33 C) at FXE and "only" 89 F (32 C) at FLL. Tomorrow is like something straight out of July, 91 F (33 C) predicted high with a 60% chance of PM thunderstorms.

By mid-April most of Northeast US (yes, even the subarctic Bunghole) finally catches up to London in average highs. That said, WHY THE FUCK IS EUROPE SEEING CONSTANT 15C TEMPS WHILE WE CAN'T EVEN RECORD CONSECUTIVE 10C DAYS?! FUCKING BULLSHIT, ALL OF IT!!! Would you rather have your forecast or mine?

I can't help but be sceptical after the shit fest of a spring so far. Nice weather is still over a week away in the charts and while I hate to be a pessimist, I can imagine it getting eroded down to overcast soggy freezing cold crap just like today. Of course if it was showing a "beast from the north east" with snow, it would come off 100% as the two in March did.

Low of 71 F (22 C) this morning, heading up to 91 F (33 C) later with a 50% chance of thunderstorms. Which means we won't get shit.

I think May and June could actually be quite good, but July and especially August will fail yet again. I actually cannot see us having a decent August for ages. It's been 13 years now since August last managed to get average or above average sun.

All of the people in this thread who constantly expect April to be just like June and then throw a fit when the law of averages kicks in: what gives?

All of the people in this thread who constantly expect April to be just like June and then throw a fit when the law of averages kicks in: what gives? Name them. If you're going to moan about what other people are posting on here then you should address each one directly and not be a pussy. In so far as this month is concerned, it's actually on track to be possibly the dullest April on record; not something seen every year, decade or even 100 years. Temps are normal though. In percentage terms, April actually has the same amount of sunshine as June, locally, BTW.

A bit of a strange chart, whereby colder temperatures are red and milder ones are blue.

After two months of constantly below temperatures it finally seems to get above average! After tomorrow comfortably double-figure highs every day. Nights will be cold due to largely cloudless skies, but glad to finally have this shit spring on the move.

I expect April to be like April; ~6 hrs sunshine a day, dry and settled conditions with temps in the mid-teens. Not overcast and rainy with temps struggling to get above 10-12c.

I expect April to be like April too. Which means 15C highs and sunny. Not this subarctic 2C high bullshit

Who expects April to be like June? I expect April to be like April; Who expects April to be colder than February? This has been a weird year for us with the huge pattern flip right around the start of spring.

Yes! About fucking time. Last time we had a decent spell of above average temps was in January! Average for mid April is 14c, by late April that is up to 16c. Now we just need to see those sun hours increase as it's still looking very poor by April standards.

Above average in January is pointless anyway, as it doesn't ever feel warm with the weak sun. This is the time of year to get it, and we can have some beautiful spring weather, just not recently. A warm Spring almost feels better than summer imo, as it's straight after a long dark winter.

I didn't mind it too much, as it was quite sunny and March is a lose-lose situation anyway, not to mention our almost snowless December. But the truth is: the first 15C feels a lot better than the last 15C...
