Awesome spring day here in Winston Salem. And below average at that... been well below average past day or 2. Trees finally fully leaved out here at the latest date i have ever seen... imagine winston salem still behind us. Seems winston salem was closer to nornal than today than we were. Forecasy either way looks like late march instead of late april mid and upper 70s...

April 2018 in Amherst doesn't look like April. More days below 50ยฐF than above 2017 had a colder start and some chilly late April days but lots of warmth mixed in here's the weekend of April 22-23. Only a few buds May 2 first week this April will definitely be bare

WELL FUCK ME DEAD. When I checked at 4 PM, just 8 fucking hours ago, Tuesday was supposed to have a high of 66 (19 C)...Now itโs just 61 (16 C). 95% chance it gets downgraded into the mid 50s, if Tuesdayโs gone might as well take Monday with it. With our luck, the 61 last week will be the warmest temp of the month and this week wonโt get out of the 50s.
New predictions for first X temp:
70 (21 C): May 20 80 (27 C): June 15 86 (30 C): June 29 90 (32 C): September 3

Another sub 50F day Friday Winnipeg, Edmonton, Kyzyl, and (especially) Harbin all have significantly warmer daytime temps forecast in the next ten days then we do here in NYC. Great feeling

winter isn't leaving Mt. Washington; looks like some great spring hiking. Don't you wish you were here @nooyakwa ? here's the valley bottom at 2000 feet. Mid-April warmth killed the snowpack summit has a similar pattern but colder, recent temperatures could be mid-winter up there only a little higher has 3 feet of snow on the ground

comparison of 3 cold upstate NY Aprils for Ithaca. April 2016; -4.0ยฐF for the whole month, started very cold (morning low of 1ยฐF!) but mild with an even near hot week. Still delayed growing season April 2007, consistently cold and winter-like first 2 months, then a warm end April 2018, scale is different. No extreme cold like the other 2 but just consistent below average. think this was March 2007 in Ithaca mid-May; see? spring arrives

Had a pretty warm morning today, low of 74 F (23 C), it's 83 F (28 C) with mostly cloudy skies right now. Thunderstorms are in the forecast for tonight.

Ok, false alarm. Thank god. NWS has now upped Monday to 67 and Tuesday to 66, both with sun. Today blew by the forecast high of 51 (11 C), as it reached 57 (14 C) with the sun. Wouldnโt be surprised if the same thing happened Monday or Tuesday and we reached 70 (21 C). BTW, mid 50s and sun feels awesome. Best weather by far since February. And itโs great that itโs on a long weekend so I can spend lots of time outdoors enjoying it.

Giorbanguly. Boston not going to bother post a frost advisory; it's been so cold the growing season hasn't began. NYC has been frost free in the last two weeks, but with few highs much above 50ยฐF mediocre plant growth

The upcoming week is looking spectacular for the PNW. Sunny and warm through Friday with temps pushing above 20C here in Metro Vancouver. About time!

Looks like the -10F anomalies are over and done with for us, today was a typically dry spring day, 17C with a dew point of -9C, abundant sunshine. Not ideal but could be worse :/

cloudless blue sky and seasonable temperatures here today. And everywhere in the Northeast. And up in Maine. That white spot on the horizon is Mt. Washington

Monday's forecast is sunny and 63 F/17 C and Tuesday 59 F/15 C and cloudy.

Slightly warmer and sunnier in your neck of the woods Monday and Tuesday. Monday's forecast is sunny and 63 F/17 C and Tuesday 59 F/15 C and cloudy. Thatโs surprisingโyouโre usually a few degrees warmer than me. The warmth must be focused farther west this time. Works out for both of us lol. Already up to 59 (15 C) at the last update at 1 PM. That was the forecast high for today, so we should blow by it. Tomorrowโs forecast has been raised to 69 (21 C).
