Unusual temp pattern for May today, around 10°C at night but closer to 5°C during the day. Something that'd be much more likely in January than on the last day of April.
Normandy, OTOH, was icebound, with 0.7°C at noon in Rouen. Mind you, they were in the 80s a few days ago. Going towards the 50 mm mark for today, some which fell as snow that stuck on the ground:

Great 50F day here, before the anal 80+ trash starts midweek.
At least it's back in the 60s later this week.

Great 50F day here, before the anal 80+ trash starts midweek. At least it's back in the 60s later this week. Was 48F and gloomy at 1 pm; crummy day for the day before May. Must be an upper level low hanging around; haven’t checked maps.

Great 50F day here, before the anal 80+ trash starts midweek. At least it's back in the 60s later this week. The chilly, gray, windy weather the past couple of days was nice while it lasted.

Here it reached about 60F but still felt cold with the occasional clouds and wind. People forget how chilly 60s can be if its windy and cloudy

77F high today! Warmest high since October 7 last year :0 Been almost 7 months
Tomorrow might be the warmest day since September 27th when we maded 85F. On a side note, the second half of last September was epic, 77F+ highs from September 15th all the way until September 27th. Would've been a record warm month if not for the little cold snap at the start

Got up to 88F here today.

(4/-12C, 19/-23C). 12 ice days, 10 days above 10C, 4 nights below -20C. (Data from NowData tab of this site: www.weather.gov/climate/index.php?wfo=dlh)

Gfs showing another heat wave the 3rd week of May. This coming week looks nice with lots of sun and days ok the 60s and low 70s. And then a heatwave? Fuck yeah. Hope it comes true.
Today got to 76 (24 C) and had a morning low of just 64 (18 C). Hopefully that holds and it’ll be the earliest 60 f low since 2009!
It keeps threatening to storm and it’s been overcast and dark all afternoon and evening but nothings happened. I don’t mind cuz it was a nice day to be outside but now that it’s dark out a storm would be nice.
