Got up to 91 F/33 C today. There were very menacing clouds around 6PM which was followed by a brief downpour and strong winds. Raining out now. One more hot day tomorrow and then seasonable this weekend onward.

It looks like we missed the record by 1 degree (92 F in 2001). Thankfully the humidity was lower than a typical summer day in South FL lol. Dry heat seems rare these days, although I guess spring and fall are more likely to feature such conditions. Not ideal, but certainly much more tolerable.

Pretty warm during the days with fairly low humidity.

Pretty warm during the days with fairly low humidity. I hope it's an early start, would be a couple of weeks earlier than normal (usually starts around May 17-20 or so) and not just a teaser and we get a dry spell in late May. Here's our forecast per NWS: Although talks are that it's a tropical disturbance, which again is quite early in the season for this.

Wow. The Northeast reaching 90F before Kansas City. Highest temperature of 2018 is still 83F on 13 April, and there are no temperatures higher than that in the forecast until 14 May, a point so far out it may as well be guessing.

The 85 (29 C) on the 2nd was a daily record high.
Yesterdayโs low of 62 (17 C) was the earliest 60 f low since 2009.
It it rained a lot this morning, but has since turned into a beautiful day. 3rd of 4 reaching 80 f!
High/low of 83/57 (28/14 C), well past the forecast.
March and April were shit but itโs been an EPIC start to May.

gloomy and humid the whole day. Oddly the NWS says it's 84ยฐF with only a few clouds. Yesterday evening was humid; big change in the smell in the air then vs before. Mid afternoon Wednesday was 87ยฐF with a dewpoint of 36ยฐF! NYC was 80 at 11 pm Wednesday night! some neat patterns: Connecticut River valley had a big drop in temperature in the evening. Southern New England and eastern Long Island got cooled by a breeze from the sea. NYC got an urban heat island of course but the lower Hudson River valley managed 77ยฐF after midnight without the urban heat island. 75ยฐF in Central NH even more impressive being further north and probably having a colder ground. Hottest max temperatures were places a bit inland any snowpack left in the Whites? Reports have lots of soft and slushy snow still around. www.outdoors.org/outdoor-activities/backcountry-weatherBut the higher summits are receiving strong winds and possible thunderstorms.

Interesting weather the past 24+ hours with warm, but very windy conditions. Right now at 9:25PM it's still 80 F/27 C with winds gusting to 20 MPH (dewpoint 58 F/14 C, humidity 47%, heat index 81 F).
