Gothenburg and NW NJ look about 3-4 weeks behing us. Pics from the past few days. Cloudy weather has resumed in Paris. Nice building. Shopping arcade dead as fuck on a Saturday afternoon. Strange. Cloudy but pretty bright Ugly cranes ruin my photos. Lots of people on this lawn. Formula E race going on. Random shots Lots of yellow dust from plane trees: This woman is apparently admiring this venerable tree. Spot the odd one out. Something tells me these aren't actual Roman ruins. Wisterias are begining to flower (and paulownias too!) Incongruous building Nice hangar in the background. Architects weren't the most inspired back in the 60s/70s.

Paris being way ahead of Goatenburg and NJ can be expected when Montsouris has been like 4C above average, while NJ is probably 2-3C below?

Snow is melting quickly in TavelsjΓΆ. Too quickly. Would've been cool to have snow in June. Good for getting brown too. We won't even have a snow cover in May though, it seems.

So jealous of the sunsets and sunrises in other countries like in Australia. They're quite lame here in comparison.

Some nice green meadows there Razza, looks like good places to walk the dog and lounge around in while drinking beer.

I revisited the city today. A little less change since Friday than I had hoped for but still a little progress I guess. A little more flowers Lots of bees and bumblebees both in the city and TavelsjΓΆ Leaves Bird Cherry leaf compilation Those leaves were all at least a meter above ground, but they still weren't exactly green adult trees. This is as good as it gets when it comes to large adult trees. Very noticably yellowish green buds from afar, but the leaves haven't emerged that far. I've noticed bird cherries too young to have flowers leaf fully earlier. Buds containing flowers as well as leaves (like those on thisbtree) seem to have much smaller leaves than buds containing only leaves. Larch needles starting to emerge as well as the flower base. And I was surprised to see a goat willow in full catkin bloom in TavelsjΓΆ. Normally TavelsjΓΆ is a few days behind UmeΓ₯, but this year they seem more similar than usual. It was more noticably green than on the picture.

Unexpected sunset tonight. Was slate grey overcast, and yet this happened. Had to juggle my beer and camera to get out the door in time and capture it while drinking beer.
