Mondonack, New Hampshire Deerfield River hiked to this dam-created waterfall of the South River, a nearby tributary above the dam below the dam where the South River meets the Deerfield found this bridge led to a hiking trail that was in poor shape, gave up over-photographed view

This huge beetle landed on my arm. These flowers were popular. Is this another ash? It looks weird. This small gorge/ravine was pretty lush Fungi River Haters gonna say the sunset didn't actually look like this but I swear it did. Definitrly #1 sunset ever. Didn't know the sky could be that color. Sunrise was top 5 too. A little overshadowed by the amazing sunset that day and also just a couple days earlier.

Great sunrise/sunset photos Babu. Cozy foreground, too. Some sunrise/sunset shots recently. Post-storm near sunset. after heavy rain on Thursday. Was shouting on the shoutbox how awesome the sky was but only 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 was around or at least responded you can see a cloud cap on the hills; was much more obvious 10 minutes earlier. nice sky, ugly foreground after sunrise Sunday. taken at 5:45 am after sunrise Monday after a 100°F day. Taken 6:38 am. sunset on Monday. I was whining about biking in the heat =========================== random older photos. From two weekends ago wall art after a cloudy weekend, very windy day after the low passed last Wednesday right before we get 3" of rain was cool and cloudy. Kinda clouds I find bland and ugly. Photo taken at 3 pm, started raining at 7 pm and kept going till after the next day from June 19. This was a surprise. Last Saturday, I almost biked right by a mama skunk and baby, they didn't have their tails up.

Nice. How large is the tidal difference there from low to high tide? Here it is 181 cm - 270 cm. Also, I noticed the hills are bare. If not for human activites and grazing, those hills surely would be densely wooded.

If not for human activites and grazing, those hills surely would be densely wooded. The tidal range in the area is very large, to the extent where it can be dangerous, and has killed people. The maximum range recorded there was 5.8 m max to a 0.3 m low, and the tide travels a kilometre up the estuary. Although today it will range from 4.34 m high to a 1.27 m low. That part of the hills looked like they area used for forestry and grazing, the majority is densely forested as you'd expect. I took some photos when the tide was a bit higher, although I have more on my phone that I might upload some when I can be bothered

I visited Rakvere in the east today and took some pics. Rakvere fortress from the 13th century. You can thank Poles and Swedes for partially blowing it up in 1605. Views from the base of the fortress: It always amazes me how epic and northern looking nature gets the moment I leave the vicinity of Tallinn:

Today I was in the area of the historical center of Turin for following a graduation ceremony, so I have a couple of pictures from that area. This is the iconic monument of the city, the Mole Antonelliana: while this is one of the main squares (in particular, this one is called Piazza Vittorio Veneto).

Bulk load of Northern Vietnamese Photos. Warning lots of images here. Hoi An: spent 5 days here riding around the countryside, surfing, exploring, drinking beer, going out to clubs with heaps of mates. The main beach, got 2 days there; the first day had clean 1-2.5ft swell with easy waves to ride, one of the best days on the trip. The main river in hoi an On the last day in hoi an me and two guys i was travelling with rode 30-35km in a loop around the ricefields, towns and islands around hoi an. View from a bridge Me and my mate checking maps on a country lane Hue: one day here but i got to climb up on a tank which was fun. Ninh Binh: spent 5 days here doing much of the same as hoi an but also took scooters out to explore the beautiful mountains and jungle. Country road Farmland Lake in a national park Imperial Palace thingy Cat Ba Island/Halong Bay: A very touristy island mainly servicing ferries around Halong Bay, a famous destination in Asia. Spent 3 nights/2 days here. The one highway that cuts across the island There's a 30-40m cliff just out of frame ; ) Cat Ba Island interior Main beach, not much but a nice panoramic view of the area Valley On the halong bay cruise, view from an island peak Yeah this is just the portion of northern vietnam that i travelled. Will maybe do this twice a week or so to slowly complete the whole journey.

Yep but some irony alert in my post before of course. It's a small farm outside of Nyköping, and actually in a frost hollow. The plains above town have really cold nights compared to down here by the water.
