Yeah, I like the ivy, ferns, and occasional evergreen to stop things from looking completely dead over winter.
The camera has nice colours and lighting, but I think the resolution's too low. Some look more like paintings than photos.

I don't know what's happening Babs, I'll have to play around with it and see what the deal is.

Your photos posted here are 5mp, but the S6 has a 16mp camera. That's more than the S8

I can sorta feel what you mean due to those blurry parts of some pictures, but the landscape was nice! Thank heavens you used Imgur though or else it'd be 20 MB right there or something Like a picture vault Strewthless

Lol, I just checked, it's an S5 Neo. My sister gave it to me because my other phone is playing up, I must have misheard her when she told me the model. Guess that explains everything, although the large picture size doesn't help either. I'll just use the other phone for pictures I guess.
Most of my photos were taken with a MotoG3, which has a surprisingly good camera. Some others, such as the Chester photos on the previous page, were taken with a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro (SM-T320). Which also has a respectable camera.

Today. Sunny during the short day, a feeble sun indeed. Clouds to the E over Trondheimsfjord A very thin slice of ice near that path

I've been to Stockholm over the weekend celebrating my SO's dad's birthday. It's a beautiful city. Too bad, there's almost always heavy traffic, motorways and construction obscuring the view. We went to Uppsala today. It's such a wonderful city. They have the largest church in Europe north of somewhere in Germany. Pretty large. Sadly I couldn't fit it all into one picture. Stupid church wasn't lined up symmetrically. Here lies the most famous dead king of Sweden. Apparently he liked skiing. Some strange lady kept posing for pictures. She kept the act going for like five minutes so after a while I felt I had to oblige. Fun fact: A lot of men believe the top sign is stranger than the bottom one. Man do beeches look nice. We should totally plant some in Umeå. These beeches are trying to start a forest on their own. Beech forests are pretty nice though so I'm not complaining. We have a green intruder in the beech forest/park. Some guy with a castle really liked France. I don't really like them. I prefer this kind of view. Although I'd assume it's prettier with leaves. Straight road. We went to look at some hills. Apparantly some odd thousand year old viking kings are feasting in them. Or hobbits. It's one of them. Can you see the church? It's pretty big. Oh, and for the anticlimactic finale, this apple tree has got some decently sized apples still. Full res images:

Fall in the NE America is so much better than anywhere else on earth.
Btw, a tip for the future (something that I at least like doing) is first post images on City-data, and then just copypasting it onto here. If you post here first it doesn't work properly when pasted onto CD.
That is if you want to post on both sites.

Stunning from the 3500’ post to the end nei. Fall colors look so much better from the distance than up close IMO.

Moderator cut: For future contemporary posts, the winter thread is highly recommended.

If you post here first it doesn't work properly when pasted onto CD. That is if you want to post on both sites. Fall is consistently better in northern New England than down here; more reds and vibrant colors and they tend to change more in sync. Down here, the colors this year were muted and the trees didn't change at once. Thanks for the tip, though if you post images by manually typing in the img tags using BBCode then it should work on both sites.
