We had the warmest first 3 weeks of September on record. Our lowest temp so far is just 51 (11 C), only 1931 hasn’t gotten colder the first 3 weeks of September. Unfortunately the last week looks cool and will kill the anomaly but the month should still finish around 76/59 if the forecast holds which would still be top 10 warmest. A lot of the Northeast will still have a record warm September; will be interesting to see who gets it. This September was more extreme by minimums than maximums; a very humid month. I enjoyed last year's September much more. Also the heat wave at the end was more fun as he hadn't had truly hot or humid weather in a while so it was welcome while now I'm sick of it.

Raleigh has yet to fall below 65°F this September, which is the warmest minimum for the first three weeks of September. Also, they're average low to date is 70.3°F, which is the warmest on record to date and 0.4°F warmer than the average July low. They're almost certain to set a record for most consecutive days without a low below 55, as they're only two days shy of the record of 137 days from 1939. Strangely enough, Oklahoma City is currently experiencing their third longest streak at or above 55 at 138 days. But they are twelve days shy of the record, so it's a lot less certain for them.

Dew point rose sharply from 6 to 18°C last night and has been hovering in the 18-19°C range since. Feels kinda sticky.
Southern France still summery with temps uo to the mid-thirties. Parts are averaging above 30°C this month so far.

Neat squall line earlier this afternoon. Doesn't translate well into pictures tho. Winds up to 86 km/h and temp down by 6°C. The low was a pretty remarkable 19°C, but it didn't last. Temps ranging from around 11°C in the French Flanders and up to 35°C in Montpellier atm:

Fall colors aren't showing up yet except for a few confused trees. September is too early. It has been noticeably cooler this weekend at least with highs in the teens. Next week looks like the cooler weather will continue.
Average lows have been nuts so far, pretty much like mid-July That's really warm for September. LGA airport hasn't seen a temperature in the 40s since April, wow. And won't see 40s for a while yet in fall.

So much for the cooler temps that had been forecast this weekend. At least there are decent t-storm chances, but so far any storms in the area have been missing me...
