Another summer-like day with dewpoint in the 70's and forecast high of 91F... I'm thinking cooler temps will finally materialize later this week. This is what the CFSv2 shows for next week.

I was wondering if warmth was ever going to come back to us. We haven't hit 32°C+ since 9/30 and nothing above 27.8°C in the 7 day. I guess we will warm up after Hurricane Sergio's remnants are kicked out of here after next weekend

We set a new Record minimum High today!
Today's High was 24.4°C (Normal High 33.9°C); the old Record was 25°C set in 2011
Edit: Official data finally in, High was actually 25°C, so we tied the Record minimum High rather than breaking it outright

Already 169 mm in metropolitan Bangkok in the first week of October (although the wet season is forecast to end a little earlier this year). Highs mostly around 34-35 C with a lot of storm activity.

Looked back at old Records, and if we don't hit 90°F at all this October, it would be the first time since 1916! (Which is also the only time in Recorded history that we didn't hit 90°F at all in October!!!)

These charts will make the poor coldees weep into their warm, alcohol-free beers.

Well today also had an incredible 71 (22 C) dew point.
This is tied for the October record high dew!
Today makes 4 days in our history with 70 f dews in October, 3 of them have come in the past week (Thursday, Saturday and today)!
Low to mid 80s and more humidity tomorrow and Wednesday then a big cold front comes through Thursday. After that it seems we’ll be cold for good.

Fucking epic October warmth today!!!
At 5 PM, we reached 86 (30 C) with a dew point of 69 (21 C)!! This would be a warm, muggy day in fucking July, let alone October.
That produced a peak heat index of 90 (32 C)!
•Hottest October temp since 1971! •5th latest 30 C
Even more impressive, the overnight low was 73 (23 C)! That’s the average highest low in a year!
The record max low for October is 68 (20 C) so we could easily set and probably smash it!
At 11 PM last night, it was 64 (18 C) At 12 AM in fucking October, it shot up to 75 (24 C) with gusty winds SW winds
Forecast high of 84 (29 C) tomorrow so another epic day coming up...
2018 is a year for the ages. Extremely variable January, 71 f in February, record warm May, 86 f average high in July, top 10 August, top 10 September that hit 94 f, 86 f in October, possible record warm lows in February, May and October, record dew point in October, all time record dew point in July...
