Hurricane Florence barely moved an inch since making landfall. Must be some intense flooding in the Carolinas right now Any live cameras streaming from rooftops there? If it's a lower intensity than predicted hopefully at least inland areas will be fine.

Got to 88 (31 C) today. Staying warm for a few days then a big cool down next weekend.
Honestly I’m getting kinda tired of the heat and humidity but it’s interesting and I prefer it to cold at this time of year so I don’t really mind.

Yeah I feel like 78-82F highs this point of year would be perfect. Still like it on the warm side, but nothing too hot. Today was pretty nice, capped out at 86F here

Nice, but kinda annoying it was with moderately high dews (mid 60s). Time for a break, still haven't gotten 80°F and no humidity. Another warm day where inland got hotter than the coast; Chicopee, MA had a high of 88°F

It was supposed to rain all day from Florence’s remnants but instead we didn’t get a drop and it was sunny most of the day I am LOVING this dry start to the month, we’ve gotten 1.29” (33 mm) so far but an incredible 92% of that came in one day on the 10th. Looks like a repeat of last year with the dry September. The averages so far are 80.1/63.8 and the cold snap for next week has been dialed back with the forecast for Friday raised into the mid 80s. Should be the 4th straight epic September! if we could get the warmth to carry into mid October than enter a cool, dry and variable pattern to finish the year, it would be a legendary last 8 months.
