Lucky you! Cold snap has been cancelled for western Europe, Ariete jinxed it.
-4/3°C today in Paris, so at least it's wintry. Hoping for some snow tomz, it should fall on 3 separate fronts. Hopefully at least one of the 3 will produce some kind of a layer.
Coldest morning so far this season in Umeå, both where I live and, it would seem, at the airport. At 8.00 today it was -20.1'C where I live, the first time I've seen the temperature dip below 20'C though it will undoubtedly been a little colder while I've been inside (my thermometer doesn't have a max/min function)
The airport station has stopped reporting to SMHI and Ogimet, but it's still reporting rounded values in 40 minute intervals to weatherhq which saw a coldest value of -26'C at 6.40 this morning, the coldest this season. Gielas recorded -35.6'C this morning breaking the seasonal record set the day before at 35.4'C in Älvsbyn

A very consistent snow cover north of 59-60°N in Fennoscandia. The only bare ground not under clouds here is a thin coastal sliver around Kristiansand in southernmost Norway. Even Bergen is covered by snow.

Final snowfall:
1/19: 7.8” 1/20: 8.2” 1/21: 1.7” Total: 17.7”
Pretty disappointing given the forecasts for 2 feet but still a solid storm, I’ll take it.
Yesterday’s high was 11 (-12 C), wish it had stayed below 10.
Today is cold, sunny with over a foot of fresh white snow, beautiful winter day. I went for a nice long walk earlier and with the sun it wasn’t very cold.
Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 40s and rain, great variability but nasty weather and it’ll turn the beautiful snow into ugly slush.
Personally first time observing heavy snow in Paris.
Only moderate snow this morning where I work (zone 3 on the eastern side). Now a couple minutes ago that was heavy snow! Those were some freakin' huge snowflakes.

Coldest morning of our season as well. -6F was the low (-21.1C). Downtown reached only -3F though (-19.4C)
moar rain coming! January normally isn't prone to extreme precipitation, so a few stations could get to top 2 or 3 wettest. We really need a long rain break
Winter Weather Advisories for the interior Northeast extending from Pennsylvania to Maine. Slight chance of a wintry mix here in NW NJ before changing over to rain but the threat isn't enough to warrant an advisory.
An occluded front stayed over the western suburbs. No snow or next to no snow for the rest of the metro today. Photo from there:
Winter wonderland in the forests around Versailles, while nothing is left in the city center:
Large range in minimum temps between the NW suburbs and the rest of the metro, with -6.9°C in Pontoise vs 0.6°C in Montsouris. It will probably be similar tomorrow morning.
