AJ1013 don't be angry but I think your splendidly performing (up till now) mödèl needs some work. Fücson and Vancückver will be getting snowfall it looks like!

High reached 44F yesterday, "soarcher". Low last night dropped to 21F, another seasonably cool morning. High today is 49F bullshit winter weather. 49 is now +15 This time of year

Speagles84 December is very mild for me too. Only 1" of snow through the 20th and not much cold weather. No cold in the forecast, either. December could end warmer than November this year. Zero chance of a White Christmas this year. Madison has snow cover on Christmas about 2/3 of the time. |

I'm thinking it may be cooler than shown by that 8-14 day range map for my area. The GFS is showing mostly cooler temps arriving by Dec 29. The latest run even shows a bit of snow across north Louisiana on New Years Day.  |

My location has a white Christmas 40-50%, the European is showing a chance for me now, but I'm definitely not counting on it  |

Getting cloudier here and I heard the first rumble of thunder for the day today. Radar looks promising, we even have the off chance of an isolated tornado or two. Should be an interesting day. Sharply cooler weather tomorrow and Saturday, TWC has a 46 F low for us on Saturday night and 50 F for tomorrow night. |

really warm mid-levels 850 hPa / about 4500 feet. Above 10°C in New England tomorrow with 2+ inches of rain. RIP New England mountain snowpack.  coastal New England forecast forecast to get gusts up to 55 mph. Squally! Not a true 'Noreaster as the track is too inland… and the wind is coming from the south. Diagram of the storm dynamic by someone who's the same age AJ1013from the Mt. Washington Observatory. Warm air already there at 4300 feet, maybe that's the "low level jet" in the diagram. Cold air damming below and just not filtering down below yet.  |
