So much smoke coming from the rooftops! And the ducks are still swimming in the water. Very few people on the streets for Chicago, even on a weekday there should be people out and about if it was a normal temperature.

Looks cozy.

And wow, those are some awesome scenes of Chicago.

White and fluffy snow part II, the previous pictures were taken yesterday in the morning, and it continued to snow until yesterday at 9 pm or so. Other snow in this afternoon forecast.

The walk in the snow I was beginning to think I wouldn't get to do this year!

We only had a couple of cm before it all got washed away this afternoon, but you don't need much to get that solidly wintry look. Good too to have more powdery snow other than the wet/icy stuff we often get which has obviously fallen at slightly above freezing.
