They're not remarkably different but 0.7°C high difference still means that Turku overperformed its averages more during that first week of the month, although not by much. Norrköping overperformed more in June than Turku did in September as well, we also agree on that. Lake Lommaren is obviously in Norrtälje and that's a full degree of latitude north of here and a crossover between Nyköping and Turku (think a slightly more maritime version of what Turku is). I do feel quite a difference between the two, especially when it comes to winter snow cover, but I'd agree that for an outsider visiting the two places in the short term they probably wouldn't feel that much of a difference. It's still quite clear to me though that Turku has the better winters, whereas Nyköping has the better shoulder seasons, whereas July months in general are extremely equal. Anyway, last 10 Septembers' in Norrköping: 17.9 15.7 18.0 15.9 17.2 17.8 17.9 20.9 16.0 18.4 Two years were rather equal whereas in 2016 the difference was 3.6°C, which is also very rare. In general they're within a touching distance but with a small difference that is clear from a climatological standpoint but not so much for the average person, I agree on that Ariete . Still, I feel it's fair to say that Turku was more above average in early September last year than Norrköping considering this, although not by a gigantic amount. Agree to disagree if not I guess?

Wow that is a brutal winter in Baker Lake. Even Yellowknife have avg high below freezing in April. Also noted that Terrace, BC, had almost the same year high/low as Trondheim.
