Third 90 F (32 C) of the year today, and third in the last four days. Getting windy and overcast here, some storms a good possibility this evening.

Another forecast bust today as it only got to 61 (16 C). Month will definitely end below average now.
Amazing to think that on Saturday, the forecast was for mid 80s today.

What do you know... another warmer and drier than normal month for the PNW. It's locked in at this point.

omegaraptor Youβre starting to sounds like LKJ βthe high is dead locked over my place, maceβ My apologies. βLocked inβ referred to the fact that this month is already well above average temp-wise and below normal precip-wise, and the last few days will only advance the averages further in that direction. I think this is one of the warmest Mays on record here. Iβll have to check when the final data comes out though.

Got an awesome thunderstorm today between 3-330 pm that dropped 0.33" of rain at Dulles Airport. Quite a bit of heavy rain, wind and lightning with the storm, some really close strikes around 3:15-3:20 pm. Wish the storm would've lasted longer but I'll take it over nothing.
High today reached 88 F (31.1 C) and the low tonight is predicted at 65 F (18.3 C). Cooler weather predicted by late this weekend and early next week.

Haven't had measurable precip here since May 19 and high temps 90F or above daily since May 22. Though looks like today has stayed below 90F. There had been a decent chance of t-storms today but not much has materialized...
The next few days look hot and mostly dry though we may enter a wetter pattern later next week.
