It's the end of August and still not a single sign of fall. I've seen some leaves on the ground in some places, and some rare trees have a few yellow leaves, but that's not necessarily fall-related. Despite the record warm summer last year, this year is much greener in late august, probably due to a lack of drought. Not quite the end of August....there's still 8 days left in the month. Warm this morning, 74 F (23 C) with a 68 F (20 C) dew point, cold front hasn't moved through yet. Today's predicted high is only 72 F (22.2 C), which is cooler than the temp now and a full 21 F (11.7 C) cooler than yesterday's high temp (93 F / 33.9 C) Quite the big swing by summer standards! Looking almost autumn-like in the next few days.

So, we've had some interesting weather the past couple of days. Big temperature swing from Thursday to Friday, temperature at 4 PM on both respective days: Thursday: 93 F (33.9 C) with sunny skies Friday: 66 F (18.9 C) with rain Not a bad swing by summer standards! Currently 69 F (20.6 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) dew point, so quite a pleasant morning. Headed up to 78 F (25.6 C) today with sunny skies. Warmest high I see for the next 7 days is only 84 F (28.9 C), summer starting to lose some of its muscles, nice thing to see.

Fucking gay and lame, predicted low overnight was 56 F (13.3 C) and it only dropped to 61 F (16.1 C) because of stupid fucking clouds. So what could've been a solidly chilly morning by August standards just ended being a seasonably cool morning. Same bullshit happened the previous night too.
Today will be nice though, 77 F (25 C) predicted with partly cloudy skies. Hopefully tonight can cool off in a good way. No gay clouds.

The mild weather continues on Saskatoon but it seems to be staying mostly stable, with highs between 19C and 23C in the forecast, so our averages are slowly catching up to the conditions. We might actually get an average September if this continues.

Another day, another thunderstorm rolls by. This is by far the stormiest August I've ever seen here. If we'd just had average temperatures to go along with it, this would've felt more like July than July did.

70 F with a 56 F dew point as of 9 pm, perfectly comfortable night. Much clearer tonight than last night (so far) as well, hopefully that translates to a cooler night.

This may be the most boring month I can remember. The first 3 weeks were in the high 70s to mid 80s every single goddamn day, and then a pattern shift cane with an unnoticeable cold front and now itβs mid 70s every fucking day. No heat, no storms, no variability just the same 70s/80s and mostly sunny on infinity loop.
This was also a crap summer. Yeah July was warm but so what, it didnβt even top 92 and was stable fucking low 80s most of the month.
90% if our days the last 2 months have been 75-90. How fucking boring.
Just goes 80s infinity loop > lame wave > 80s infinity loop > weak cold front > 70s infinity loop.
Im so fucking jealous of literally everyone on the forum when everyone seems to mention heat, storms, cold, more storms, record temps, and anything interesting imaginable. There is fucking nothing interesting here. Iβm fucking done with this place.

Got a thunderstorm yesterday afternoon which gave me 0.45" of rain. Up to just 0.81 for the month. The airport is doing a little better with 1.23" for month to date. Decent chances remain tomorrow and Wednesday with approaching front. This front should lower humidity a bit.

^ Good god, like 10 C colder just outside the city! That's some serious UHI. Haven't experienced such a big UHI effect here in DC yet, the biggest differences I've seen are about 7 C between here and DC proper. Of course, DC is much smaller than Paris though.
69 F (20.6 C) and overcast here with a nice SE breeze outside, crummery type weather lol. High today is predicted at 77 F (25 C) with cloudy skies and a good chance of showers. Hasn't been above 80 F (26.7 C) in five days, that's quite remarkable for late August!

The last 3 days here have had highs of 30C, 31C, and 30C. The forecasts were for 28C, 28C, and 25C. I'm glad it's been warmer, but Jesus Christ the Met Office is useless.
