Couple pics from the Netherlands Ship sailing close to the beach Cute town Cute square in said cute town Cute street in another cute town Lots of nei 's and Lommaren 's there None of them on this bridge: Indeed, they left their bikes for a few beers. Another cute place The day after was hot in northern France. About 32°C and the grass is turning yellow, in quite a stark contrast from Paris region, which got abundant but localized precipitation in May: All nice, green and still hot in the forest though! Ugh. Clearcutting at its worst. That's Sarkozy's fault.

nice photos rozenn. So many interesting towns to explore not far from you. You drive or take a train? Photos from last week. Last Saturday, June 1st so eligible for the summer photo thread in the greenhouse water must be cold, first day I saw people swimming came across some sorta festival Monday evening in Amherst, cold northwest wind making the skies look not very summery. Dropped down to 39°F in Amherst, but other stations only recorded mid 40s; near record cold for PA and the DC area that night. ==================== Tuesday morning in Northampton. I think this giant Victorian mansion is subdivided into apartments or condos. Would be cool to live here nice flower peeking through the asphalt This home is owned by someone who really likes Liverpool's football team. And England Mt. Tom from Northampton Smith College gardens evening bike ride the same day, noticed this nature preserve and stopped at it. Passed by it like 100 years and always was too focused to push on, up the hill. Start of trail had an interesting bridge led to a lake lots of birds and someone said she saw a turtle

Sunset a few days ago. My lens is starting to get scratched up a bit too much now. Maple isn't supposed to grow up here natively. Take a look at out forest floor m8. Very hazy air a few days ago. Most noticeable of you look to the furthermost left of the river. Another sunset and a bird So this is very weird. The seeds from goat willows have created a down cover. Looks rediculous Dandelion field

Looks rediculous I saw the exact same thing in Anchorage this time of year. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the photo showing this. Same thing happens here too though.

nice photos rozenn . So many interesting towns to explore not far from you. You drive or take a train? Photos from last week. Last Saturday, June 1st so eligible for the summer photo thread I took a train to Lile, and then got driven. Lille's only an 1-ish hour drive from the Dutch border. I find the Netherlands more exotic than Denmark. So close, so different from here!

Very rainy and very boring day in here today. We have oscillated between these 2 extremes all over the day, each oscillation also come along with a rain shower. This is a common springtime weather for me, and it is also quite a contrast with one week ago, which was full summer mode instead.

This was a strange tower: Originally it was intended to be a synagogue actually! Now inside there is a museum, and there is also an elevator which goes up to the top of the dome from which there is a very nice view of the mountains and hills all around the city.

I think neither Yac nor Volosong would be too fond of this place "Trollesund" = the strait of the trolls in English.
For those wondering, it's a small road through the past a manor close to Ludgo church 25 kilometres by road from Nyköping. I cycled there yesterday on my two-hour and a few minutes 51 km trip in the evening.

In the midwest the tree that does this is called Cottonwood, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Populus_deltoides. When they fall it reminds me of fluffy snow flakes.

My university yesterday morning after days of heavy rains, the sun had just come out allowing waterdrops to cascade from the pines creating a sort of artificial, localised shower! (maybe zoom in to see the raindrops) Train station during a heavy sunshower this morning Shower cell moving away yesterday afternoon

This is an archetypal picture of a northern Swedish summer. Flowers 'Tis the season where you mustn't stop moving when walking through the woods lest you die from acute anemia. Had the brilliant idea of having breakfast by the river in the sun. I had managed to take off my shirt, get out my baguette and open my bottle of juice and sit myself on some rocks before the fucking swarm appeared from nowhere. I then had to get dressed, get all my stuff all while balancing on rocks and doing the mosquito jig. Regrets were had. Finally found a more open place with less trees and less shelter from the wind after walking for 20 minutes, where I could finally sit down and have my breakfast. Went to the rapids with my friend again. Pools were still pretty cold to swim in. I'd guess maybe 14-16'C. One mad lady swam across the river to the other side. Wiener! A lot more water this time compared to the last time in May. Last time we were here we could walk across the rapids to the other side lol. Also quite a lot of people on the rocks. Never seen more than maybe one other couple of people there at the time. This time there were like 8-10 groups of people at any given time. On the other side of the river I found a wild hawthorn. They aren't supposed to grow in the wild here. Back home in the local forest I found a motherfucking vine. Definitely not supposed to be there lol. Some Asperitas clouds yesterday.

I was in Vancouver for a few days last week, I had quite a busy schedule so I didn't get around to taking many pictures but here are a few that I did get. The weather was fairly mixed, with the sun coming out pretty frequently despite fairly cloudy conditions, and temperatures mostly in the upper teens Celsius, fairly typical for early June. You didn't even say hi to rpvan, deneb, and I? Was it breezy/windy in your experience? Nice pics by the way.
