Several places hit 25C today, which is quite rare this time of the year on our standards. Latest >25C recorded is on the 17th, so we're just a week from that.
Turku did not, the high was probably 24.1C. To show how rare 25C is in September you can look at recent records in Turku: 24.7C, 24.6C, 24.6C, 24.5C, 24.3C and now 24.1C.

Bullshit. Fuck you Dorian Holy shit, that is fucking awful. Hopefully the flip switches in October. I can tolerate some warm/hot weather in September as it's normally a warm month anyways, but if this pattern continues into October I might blow my brains out.

I knew we had to hit 80 at some point this month but it was still a relief when it happened today.
High was 83 (28 C), nothing unusual for September but still nice. Also itโs the hottest since August 28th which is just pathetic.
Despite the warm afternoon, the low was only 49 (9 C), the first sub-50 of the season.
That snaps the 50+ streak at 84 days, the 20th longest on record.
Forecast looks very nice, 80s again tomorrow then a brief cool front then consistent 76-80 and sunny the next week. Thatโs perfect September weather imo.

Just here visiting and unfortunately returning home this Saturday. It's been a pretty good confirmation that I'd like living here. People are much friendlier than anywhere in the west coast.

SW coast of Newfoundland is always extremely windy; water must be prone to huge waves when stormy; but 100 feet is a monster. Would like to see an image of that; but no one is out in that. hopefully

Holy fucking Christ, that's like a tsunami style wave. Just looking off of the cliffs of western Cape Breton and I'd say these waters are pretty harsh even under normal conditions (i.e. no storms). They'd be downright deadly in storms. No wonder the early explorers of the area had a difficult time.

Nasty line of storms coming towards me right now Did you end up getting hit with that? We got with some storms yesterday as well. Today was the very opposite of fall, we had a high of 95 F (35 C) today! Which is hot even by mid-July standards, so very hot for the time of year. And tomorrow the predicted high is only 70 F (21.1 C), quite a change!
