January 20th, landing at Alta airport, 70'N. The first sun of the year after the polar night are illuminating the highest part of the mountains. Noticed a lot of birds down on the fjord, almost certainly ducks. Photo taken through a window. A little later at 13:30, daylight already fading

Omfgggggg Nidaros why are all your post so god damn broken If I try edit your post and write a spoiler, then when I click publish, a random /spoiler is added in the middle of the post, and then that /spoiler will be completely impossible to delete. When I erase it from the BB code, and then go to preview, and then back to BB code again, it's back. It's like your posts are sentient and go fucking 2001: a Space Odyssey on my ass like "I'm afraid I can't let you do that". Why doesn't it let me delete the /spoiler? ? And why does it fucking create a /spoiler in the middle of the post from nowhere? ?

Pics of heavy frost yesterday morning - got down to 26F. Hopefully it killed some of the weeds that have been growing lately. Early blooms have turned brown and wilted.

Some shots from the mostly frozen river Mist started forming over the open water Someone's been skiing despite the river not being completely frozen. Mist got thicker and thicker And eventually spread away from the river
