^no 90s at all here this past week, many places east of us have had 4-6 straight Today started warm and sunny then turned cool and drizzly. Had a strong downpour for awhile in the evening but only 1-2 rumbles of thunder. The airport only totaled 0.23โ (6 mm) today which brings us over an inch for the month.

June has been warm and dry so far, but an inch of rain yesterday made it less dry. So far at +4F and 65% of monthly rain (2.84") but with several rain days in the forecast.

Montreal's been having quite a warm streak, just like these adjacent areas of North America. They just had 7 consecutive days above 30C, the longest ever such streak in June, and 6 consecutive days above 32C, an all-time record.

First 30C of the year recorded in Finland. Multiple stations in inland south and central parts.
More of the same tomorrow (to), Friday (pe) and Saturday (la). But Turku will not be in the epicentre, and neither will Umeรฅ.

First 30C of the year recorded in Finland. Multiple stations in inland south and central parts.
Whoops, missed that Luhanka Judinsalo recorded 30.7C yesterday. A bit odd reading, as the 2nd warmest temp in the country was 29.1C.
Kankaanpรครค Niinisalo 175 km north of Turku was apparently hottest today, beating yesterday's record with 0.1C.
Tomorrow the all-time June record in Finland might be in danger. It's just a meager 33.8C.

The dewpoint is down in the low 60s (16-18C) today, with temps in the mid 80s (30C). Perfect summer weather.

Saskatoon is currently experiencing a 16C dew point, our highest of the year so far. Feels nice to have that additional moisture in the air, this is pretty much the sweet spot for me where it's noticeably humid but without being uncomfortable at all. If only this were more common throughout the year...

It could be possible, similar to what happened in 1966, that many places such as Pittsburgh record more days above 90 than places such as Atlanta which only a few days ago had its first 90-degree day. If this pattern holds into hurricane peak season we will be in trouble as this is the most classic southeastern US major hurricane landfall pattern you could possibly ask for.

Much cooler yesterday (6/24), with a high of only 75 (24 c).
With a low of 58 (14 c), it was the first day with a sub-20 f diurnal range since the 14th. Unusual to get such a long high diurnal range streak.

30.4c in London at midday. This time yesterday it was 29.3c, so it looks like today will comfortably surpass yesterdays high.
