Throwback to the time when Brett Lee tried to kill Piers Morgan Got to give Piers for actually agreeing to face Lee, even if Piers is a colossal wanker.

England were having a terrible series, and Piers Morgan was writing his usual crap on Twitter, calling the English batsmen "cowards" for struggling against the fast Australian pace attack. So he was challenged to face Brett Lee bowling full speed in the nets. Brett Lee was actually defending the English batsmen by showing that facing a bowler as fast as him is no joke. But credit to Piers Morgan I guess, that did take balls to agree to that The thing about pace bowlers is you have to just be confident and play your shots. If you try to cower away from it you're going to get hurt.

I'm predicting a 3-1 ashes series to Australia with one draw.

Home track bullies, of course they'll win. They aren't that good. Even without Stokes, England are the better side. The only thing benefitting them will be home advantage, but if you only have 2 decent batsmen to start with, it won't get you far.

I'm not holding out much hope, who's going to rescue us when we're 70/4 now? I'm going for 3-1 to Australia, I think we usually do best in Melbourne but hopefully we'll get a score on the board before that.
I'm looking forward to the day-night game in Adelaide though, apart from Perffffffffffffff that'll be the only game that's not on at something like 11.30 pm to 7 am our time so we'll actually be able to follow part of it live.

I think it'll be a close series, as always. B87 is way too confident.
I'll say 3-2 to Australia, but it could easily be 2-2 which wouldn't benefit us.

I can't see either side scoring more than 300-350 in an innings.

Adelaide is a day/night game though, whoever is batting at sunset will get ripped apart as the ball swings. Gabba will be a relatively high scoring game as the pitch doesn't do anything. MCG and SCG are like English wickets, so I agree.

Hopefully Australia bat at night. England are much better at bowling in swinging conditions. Most teams can't deal with the likes of Anderson in his ideal conditions.

The Australia squad for the first test. Steve Smith (c) David Warner (vc) Cameron Bancroft Jackson Bird Pat Cummins Peter Handscomb Josh Hazlewood Usman Khawaja Nathan Lyon Shaun Marsh Tim Paine Chadd Sayers Mitchell Starc I get the feeling that the Aussies will be making plenty of changes for the 2nd test

Tim Paine was decent from 2010-2013, kind of the backup keeper for Haddin for a while. He plays pretty well in the big bash too but I don't think he's much of a good test keeper/batsman.
Shaun Marsh again...I mean, c'mon mate cricket australia have given him way too many chances.
