Only England could so impressively snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Pathetic, there's only two world class batsman in the whole of England.

Harmison has been quoted saying "this Indian team is as strong as the early 00s Australian team" and honestly I've got to agree, maybe they need another year of similar domination but yeah I'd say they're in the conversation. Their ability to get out of any situation no matter how dire is honestly ridiculous (see their test series against us in 2020/21).

Bumrah is a proper star though, I saw that spell of bowling in the 2nd session and it was orgasmic.

Our test match against Afghanistan, which was set to be played in November, has been cancelled due to the Taliban banning the women's team from competing. I expect that Afghanistan's status as a member of the ICC will be questioned now.

If the test is unable to be played then it should go down as an India forfeit. They were saved by rain in the first test, unable to play the last test because of their own Covid issues. It would be ridiculous if they're can leave here claiming a series victory under these circumstances. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/58512624

Tbh, many in England would be more than happy if it was delayed for a year. What with all the silly Covid nazis, and the fact that England are going to be stuffed like a Christmas turkey if they take this injury ravaged squad down there. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/58826131

England simply couldn't cancel this test series, covid nazis or not. There have been too many cancellations happening of late and it'd just look bad. Plus, we will be on even footing. Australia have barely played any test cricket in the past 2 years, England have played something like 18 tests.

Getting the Ashes cancelled would be payback Although tbh, I think it will go ahead. It looked like it was in trouble but the noise is sounding more positive now. Didn't realise Australia hadn't played for so long.

The only international tests we've played since the last ashes were against India. Our only preparation looks like it'll be some Sheffield Shield action, and apparently NSW and VIC have to keep playing each other because the other states are scared of us lol

The Ashes selection is terrible, failing red ball players like Bairstow and Buttler appear to be undroppable. Lambs to their slaughter. Meanwhile, the man who is by far the best wicketkeeper in England, Foakes, seems to have fucked the selector's daughters. There must be some reason for his constant snubs. We should try the Indian trick, hold back some postive Covid tests for when we want to head back home

Will the Barmy Army be going over there?

Damn it, his gigantic balls have been cut off.
Taking the knee is meaningless if players are forced into doing it.

Media doesn't talk much about ODI/T20 in this country, regardless of whether we win or not. Bashing the test team still takes precedent over reporting on a limited overs team that is actually decent lol.
Heard it's only really England and Australia who see test cricket as #1, the likes of India are far more interested in ODI.
