Should have won in the soccer last night too, we got absolutely refballed. Still don't know why our goal was disallowed, if anyone could enlighten me that'd be great.

Australia have been bossing so far, really good total for a country of their size. On the other end of that spectrum you have a huge country in India who haven't won a single gold medal, lol. Belgium just beat them in the field hockey semi finals so I'd assume it's doubtful they win gold in any event now. In unrelated news, it was nice to see two Canadians in Andre De Grasse and Aaron Brown advance to the 200m semi finals earlier this evening!

We're doing the worst we've done in Athletics for decades. Our 3 realtisic gold medal hopes all got injured.
USA maybe having their worst too. Perhaps it's been a better track and field for the neutrals, 32 countries have so far won medals.

Today's medal was actually our first athletics medal of the games lol We have some outside chances tomorrow, but no likely winners anywhere.

Greek TV commentator fired for remark about Korean athlete
ERT television said it had ended its collaboration with veteran journalist Dimosthenis Karmiris as a guest commentator following comments he made after Jeoung Young-sik beat Panagiotis Gionis of Greece in men’s table tennis.
Asked about the skill of South Korean table tennis players, Karmiris said “their eyes are narrow so I can’t understand how they can see the ball moving back and forth.”
Yikes.

4th will do if we hold on to it. My guess is that we'll finish with 20 Golds.

An interesting Team GB stat. Our youngest medal winner, Sky Brown, wasn't even born when her teammate Jason Kenny first won gold in 2008.

Looks like it's going down to the final day to see whether ourselves or Russia will finish as the highest ranking European country on the table.
We're confident of at least one more Gold in the boxing final tomorrow, potentially two more opportunities in the cycling. Overall, even if we don't win another medal it's been a solid showing by us.
