Every single person on UK weather forums are hunting for and posting charts showing cold weather still. Nobody even wants spring to arrive. I donโt get it. Most on US weather forums are still sniffing out chances of snow, and weโve reached the point where snow canโt really accumulate during the daylight hours because the March sunshine (even with heavy cloud cover) is too strong, and whatever snow falls at night gets obliterated the following day. Itโs pointless. And then when winter drags on for ages (what they always wish for) they complain that spring is too short when it lasts only a month before flipping to summer.

Well like B87 said at least the people on netweather.tv find 20 degree in summer "boiling" with "intolerable" hot and sticky 10c nights. Cold is useless now for people in the midlands and south UK so don't know what their game is.

Yeah its mad hypocrite to root for cold weather in March and April and then bitch about how we only get one or two weeks of spring when we get a 90F heatwave in late-May ๐ these idiots know that late-May gets hot af, NOT the time to be rooting for comfortable weather

I got excited over seeing some 50s in the forecasts, but then I realized that 50s is the norm this time of year...

A slight frost risk has been issued for the 27th of March (next Tuesday). Commonly, when they forecast down to single digits or negatives with a clear night (5ยฐ C in this case), it always manages to plunge even lower.
Blayney (our local frost hollow town) might plunge below freezing on that event, methinks!

You gonna winter over there mate? Nah mate, just the typical "four season in one month" weather of the tablelands. Snow has fallen in summer about five times since 1893, recently in December 2013; www.blackheathweather.com/pastfalls.html

This is the average of the summers 1976, 1983, 1989, 2006, 2013 - all of which failed to record 20c until May (as well will probably do this year).
I'd put up with the impending crapril if the summer ends up like this:
June Av max: 22.5c Av min: 12.1c Precip: 15.4mm Sun: 218.3 hrs
July Av max: 27.0c Av min: 15.5c Precip: 30.2mm Sun: 264.1 hrs
August Av max: 24.1c Av min: 13.6c Precip: 37.0mm Sun: 217.8 hrs
It would be the first time August has seen above average sunshine for 13 years, and the first time every summer month was sunnier than average for 15 years! It would also be the first time that any summer month recorded above average sunshine for 5 years.

Forecast looks fucking lame and boring, with highs of 79-85 F (26-29 C) every day. The up and down March pattern is over and now it looks like we're settling in into a more consistent, fucking lame, April pattern.
At least there looks like a chance of rain at the end of the 7-day forecast, we need that shit..

Harsh pattern for Spring Break week. Highs floating around 10C, and very rainy. Is April lost too?
