Northern Wisconsin got absolutely slammed with snow this weekend. The biggest storm report right now is 31.5 inches but there's a handful of spots over two feet.
Southern Wisconsin got a mix of rain, snow, and sleet. But almost everywhere has a few inches of snow on the ground by now. It looks like January but the sunset is way too late and there are birds chirping all over. There's also countless birds on the roads, there are packs of little ones here and there.
Mailboxes are on the ground too. Deep wet snow is bad for mailboxes because the snowplow pushes it into the mailbox and it's too much force for the flimsy ones. Even if the plow blade doesn't actually hit the mailbox, wet snow is very heavy. Deep fluffy snow isn't a big deal since it's light.

The highest temp from March 1 to April 15 was just 61 (16 C). This is the 11th coldest all time and the lowest since 1984!

Such a perfect evening... went out for a walk around the lovely Pavilion Gardens for a bit earlier, temp still hanging around 15°C, clear sky with the moon and stars bright in the sky. Evenings that I dream of, most of the year.

Balmy evening in Adelaide. 22.9C at the West Terrace station, meanwhile 18C at the old Kent Town station which is barely 3km away. 15C at Renmark Airport and 17.8C on my PWS, looks like another night when Adelaide will be some 10C warmer...

Oulu has a September mean of 9.4C during the 1991-2017 period. Too late for them to escape the subarctic classification in the next normals unless you start to cherrypick months from the harbour station. Would be nice to have a mainland station at 65N with a humid continental definition by the Russian alcoholic.

Umeå University is 10.2'C with the Airport 6'C. Inaccurate fake Botev station, right? What about this then? Granted the airport was a little more outdated. It just updated. University is 10.7 and the map looks like this. Are all the surrounding stations simply faulty?

5.1°C this morning on the PWS, again 3°C under the forecast but I don't mind too much Unfortunately the daytime temp lacked too, reaching 22°C instead of 24°C. Fog also collided with the annual burning off of bushland and even pollution (due to high pressure/no wind) to produce this shot from an air balloon:
