Surely a high of 6c is noteworthy for 30th April in London? Anyone  The coldest high ever recorded in May is 7.4c (2007), so this has to be a date record or close. |

Very odd. I'm not sure why they are referring to liberalism though, surely some streets would be painted brown and black for diversity instead of all white? Don't want to be called a racist y'know. |

That's a good point. Painting those streets white is racist and only represents the most racist population in the world - the white male.

Who the fuck cares about preventing UHI's? Are there even any negatives whatsoever about UHI's except for the minority of people who like cold weather?
It's not like UHIs affect global climates anyway, and if a metropolis were built on an ice bear's home he wouldn't be pissed about his ice melting quicker. No, he would be pissed at Trump building a fucking tower on his cubs' igloo.
The rolling stones had a good point. I'd love to paint Umeå black.

Most days aren't that hot there, but no shade + all blacktop would feel unpleasant. And the extra heat from the black surface comes when the sun is highest, usually unwanted. |

Only time it happened earlier was 1803 on the 14th. *Summer conditions. It's not summer before the temp is permanently above 10C.
