Stockholm tied its second earliest meteorological summer at 17th April (5 days in a row with means 10'C) which had happened two times before. Only time it happened earlier was 1803 on the 14th. *Summer conditions. It's not summer before the temp is permanently above 10C. Or if it is, SMHI has lost it completely... SMHI's definition of summer is 5 days in a row above 10'C. After that it's summer until it's below 10'C for 5 days in a row again (after some cut off date). It's meant to be able to represent summer throughout the country. Kiruna won't have a significant period where means constantly are above 10'C.

Apparently it's summer now in Stockholm though they haven't had a single daily 10C mean since. Or am I reading it completely wrong?

It can be mild for a week after the 15th of February declaring spring, and then March can have a mean of -5'C.

How the hell does Central Europe manage to have so long above-average months? It's unfair. We're supposed to be warming most with global warming, yet we can only manage 3 months in a row above average at the very most, and only in winter. In the warm half-year we're lucky to have two above average months in a row, and then the third month is gonna have like a -5'C departure. Fuck off weather. All I ask for is a +1 departure for the three summer months without also having a -5'C departure winter or spring or something shitty like that.
And at the same time central Europe gets average winters with like 5 months in a row with consisten +1 to +3 deviations. Fucking hell man

London's top 10 cloudiest springs
1. 298.7 hrs (1981) 2. 350.1 hrs (1975) 3. 351.7 hrs (2006) 4. 375.6 hrs (1983) 5. 388.4 hrs (2013) 6. 388.6 hrs (2008) 7. 390.7 hrs (1964) 8. 399.9 hrs (1991) 9. 402.8 hrs (1960) 10. 406.0 hrs (1996)
March and April combined have recorded 165.2 hrs so far, though 5 days are missing. Even if we are generous and add 15 hours to that total (180.2 hours), we would need May to record at least 118.5 hours to avoid the cloudiest spring on record, or 169.9 hours to avoid being 2nd cloudiest.
The May average is 198.5 hours, so I have little confidence that we will manage to avoid getting into 2nd place on that list.

Be a team player and give "global warming" a hand.

I eat about 2-3lbs of meat and fart hugely all evening, every evening. Doing my bit to warm my local environment.

Human caused climate change is a myth. I donβt think itβs a stretch to say human activity plays a role in altering the climate, even if it isnβt the primary cause of climate change. Human activity was enough to put a sizable hole in the ozone layer.

Saying we don't affect the climate is like saying 1+1 isn't 2. We emitt massive amount of greenhouse gases in quantities enough to affect the global concentration, and we know larger concentrations of greenhouse gases make for warmer weather. So putting the two together, we know humans affect the climate. I can kinda see why some people would think our part is smaller than "nature's" part, but saying we have no part is just folly.

^^^ And yet, Umea fails to attain the heat standards required of AGW. Mate, start eating meat and drinking, and start farting accordingly, be a bro and give Global Warming a hand. Meanwhile, look at the fun in Adelaide. 98km/h gust at the airport!

Human activity was enough to put a sizable hole in the ozone layer. From my research its a pretty big stretch. I use to believe human activity caused climates to change but I don't believe that anymore. There are climate articles online to contradict the ''consensus'' once you read the counter arguments you can make a choice to what you believe - which I did. Humans only alter the climate of cities (UHI effect) thats it...
