Blizzard conditions likely in the Vic and NSW alps The situation looks severe all across Vic, parts of NSW and eastern parts of SA on GFS atm. Fuck me, if I had a bit of extra cash right now, I'd be booking a cabin in Warnambool and doing a side trip to Melbourne Airport for a bit of plane spotting on Fri or Sat....

ACCESS is FUCKEN GAY, continuing to send all the action to the east and ofcourse Shitney. GFS continues to look as crazy as ever. Hopefully GFS comes off. ACCESS can go and die in SHitney Harbour.

"Hottest" day of 2018 yesterday, reaching 23.3°C. Hopefully many more equally warm or warmer days to come this summer.

"Hottest" day of 2018 in Finland yesterday, with Lahti recording 23.7C.
I have a really good gut feeling about May. 10-day forecast looking really good, and though the GFS shows a burst of arctic air after that, the model often underestimates the dominant westerlies, meaning that a cold front initially hitting down on Finland moves eastwards as the models update, and will hit down deep in Russia instead.

They certainly do up this way. Probably because it only happens about twice a year in Buxton.

Lol 30 is terrible. Isn't London like 100? Don't forget I used to live near there.

How is that even possible? Yea odd cause it's a steep hill; moist air, doesn't need much uplift for condensation? Hillside cool from radiational cooling?
