Just insane... most of these records will likely be broken once again today! I think that's just a partial list too. For starters, Port Alberni is missing.

A shot for breaking Washington's all-time state record high near the Tri-Cities area on Tuesday?

Salem, OR is an incredible 117 (47 c) now and it’s only 2 PM, could still warm a bit.
The Dalles is up to 115 (46 c) again, lots of 110s in Oregon and Washington.
SE Washington is underperforming a bit, Pasco and Kennewick are at 109 and 106 still.

Portland just had a 5 minute reading of 115 between hours (Mesowest is 114.8). Absolutely unreal.
The best way I can describe this heat, it’s like the blast of air from opening a very hot oven, except it’s coming from all directions.

Officially 100°F in Victoria. Next major barrier: 40°C. That would seem unlikely though.

Officially 100°F in Victoria. Next major barrier: 40°C. That would seem unlikely though. Victoria has recorded 99°F, didn't realize it was already capable of that. wonder if the west side of the island got hot, Tofino? Port Renfrew? 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿
