All trace of snow has gone in London.
Everywhere is damp from the snowmelt.

The snow is melting here, although it's kinda random. Some footaths are still white

Fascinating how the thaw came in so quickly in the south of the region! Temps were no higher than 0.8c yesterday, so the melt didn't start until this morning.

Snow's gone here now apart from where it drifted, still plenty of snow in the Nordic countries though:

Lucky - still tons of snow here and it's very slushy so walk in it and your shoes will be full of water. Pavements are very slippery and dangerous still.

Still 8-10β (20-25 cm) on the ground here. Barely melted since it fell Friday morning and I doubt it will anytime soon with a week of overcast 2/-3 days.

A lot of dirt in the remaining snow patches. It's probably not clear, with clarity but this image shows the dirt in the grass from the melted snow:

A full covering still lying above 220 metres at home. I guess the warm air has not reached them.

Quite a bit of snowfall and right on the bubble of 0Β°C throughout today. Interesting enough. I think I need to take a proper snow deep snow walk before nightfall before it all disappears over the coming week

Easterly winds from the northeaster + mountains puts the west side in a snow shadow
Low pressure will move north into the Gulf of Maine Thursday morning then weaken as it moves onshore and retrogrades Thursday evening into Friday. Thursday morning will continue to see a flow of moisture from the coast bringing bands of light to moderate snowfall to the higher summits and delivering a few additional inches of new snowfall. The eastern flow will result in slightly higher snowfall totals on eastern slopes than on western slopes as the White Mountains create a snow shadow effect. Elevated winds from the east and northeast will continue during the morning hours as the low lifts north. As the low lifts north, steadier snowfall will eventually taper to snow showers during the afternoon and evening. As the low moves inland, winds will subside a bit and start to shift in direction. The shifting elevated winds Thursday will lead to periods of dense blowing snow that could significantly reduce visibilities above tree line at times.

2-3" fell here at 295 meters. Most of it's actually melted now with a few sunny intervals and temps to 3 degrees.

Current snow depth some compaction, southern Vermont got heavy snow from both storms. Most of the Berkshires had a lot of rain mixed in from the first storm, or a lot of it just melted upon reaching the ground. Those southern Vermont stations (at 1000-1500 feet) average 85-110 inches of snow

This is our total for the winter presuming we don't get any more snow:
November: 1 cm December: 9 cm January: 8 cm February: 16 cm March: 17 cm Total: 51 cm - a par score here is about 30 cm so I'm happy with that, I don't really want any more snow now though so that will do me until next year.
The deepest snow at any one time was 14 cm on 1 March.
