Started snowing here around 10:00, but the amount was pretty much similar to there, typical Altea accumulation.
It just started heavily snowing here again, by evening we should have more than hot African rock.

What is that, about a 2,000ft snow line? We won't get any, but you possibly could if it verifies.

Looking at the atmospheric profile during the forecast event I’d guess snow levels at 3,500-4,500 ft. I hope I’m wrong though.

Peak snow from yesterday's storm 17 inches in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Two sites in far southeast Wisconsin saw over 10 inches.

Great PEI pics, but waaaay too snowy for my liking! Thank goodness we don't get snow dumps like that on the prairies. Speaking of which, minimal snow cover out here. The landscape is white but we haven't had that much snow so far and the current mild spell is melting it just a little bit. No significant snow in the forecast at the moment so this may end up being another fairly dry winter like last year was.

PEI is quite windy too but not too surprised by that as it is a flat island exposed to the north. I would love to live there though.

Never been to the Maritimes, but I've only ever heard great things so I should definitely get around to visiting at some point. Not a fan of wind except in thunderstorms or blizzards, so between that and the amount of snow they get I think I'll probably stick to being just a visitor for the time being
