1.5 inches fell yesterday. It will be interesting to see how quickly it melts in the sun with subfreezing highs the next three days.

It's been snowing all night so now there's a thick layer on the ground again.

We have a 40% chance of snow on Thursday going into Friday, don't think it'll accumulate to much though.

Unreal there's more snow in the hilly areas of Trondheim than there is in Umeå considering how warm you've been the last few weeks

Maybe more snow has fallen down here? Also remember the hills are colder, so precip when temps are just above 0c will be snow in the hills

It's rapidly melting here and while there are ice days in the forecast, they don't look snowy.

Is this December or March? It's rarely like this this time of year.

We're currently at at at least half a meter of snow in Umeå, and this week is forecast another 30cm. That's insane. We could end up with the deepest snow cover in decades. Since 2000, 2010 has the record with 80cm. 2011 is second place with 68cm. We might end up with 90cm. By the end of this week, which is pretty dramatic since we had less than 30cm in the beginning of March.

Tomorrow looks to be the start of the final thaw so this is likely the last of it. Currently there's a fresh thin layer on the ground, should go quickly.
