Video of snow here last January with some (in my opinion) fitting music I was playing in the background:

Quite surreal how much of Sweden is still covered by snow. Most of it is uninhabited and mountainous though, but still. This image is from the 22nd of May, the latest completely clear day.

We got another few cm of snow on Thursday on top of the massive load from the blizzard that is still not fully cleaned up. Thankfully I saw a group of snowplows making their way down my street last night, but still... it's been a long time since we've had a winter this snowy, especially this early in the season.

This place (highest mountain in Iceland, 2119 m) has to be up there with these really snowy places in Alaska, I don't think snowfall data is kept unfortunately but every time I look at their forecast they're about to get another 100+ cm of snow.

First major snowstorm of the season hit. I ended up with 7" of snow, far above the 2-4" forecast. Places just north of Pittsburgh within the suburban limits got nearly a foot!
I was at deer hunting camp when this hit, we got 11-13" of snow (11" at camp, 13" at my hunting stand). Northwest PA in the core of the snowbelt got nearly 2 feet (Corry, PA ended up with 23").

No lying snow here in Sheffield since March 2018!
Supposed to be snowing tonight and it's getting colder but the precipitation is all moving around me to the north.
