Looks like another June heat record broken, this time at Jabiru Airport. Overnight min of 26.3c ! Previous record 25.9c in June 2014.

Dp's back to a normal 'dry season' level, although max and min temps still above average for June ... Noonamah, 40klm south of Darwin, the hottest place i AU today....

Late afternoon max temp ( sans sea breeze ) 33c max and dp's below 10c so indeed a very pleasant dry season day although slightly warmer than normal for mid June.

Coldest day of the month... but still 0.4c above the long term monthly mean max temp... partly overcast and dp's +21c...in June !! Why would one wanna be anywhere else in the middle of Winter ?? Noonmah ( 40klm inland from Darwin City ) hottest place in AU today.

A warm week to finish off the month of June in the Darwin rural area. Wagait Beach is a locale on the western side or Darwin Harbour, and a bit cooler.

Few showers along the northern coasts this morning ( none in Darwin although very humid and some cloud about. Almost noon 30c/21.2c And a reasnably good lookin' radar at 2.30pm after a 32c/22c dry season day...

The North West Cloudband producing unseasonal cold and rain deep into the AU tropics Quite the cool down at Argyle Airport ( south of Kununurra ) 65mm of cold rain the last 36 hours. Pretty ordinary forecast at Tennant Creek too...
