Nice. Are these with your D7200 or has your iPhone 8 replaced it now? can you tell which it is?

Nice. Are these with your D7200 or has your iPhone 8 replaced it now? can you tell which it is? The focal length seemed to be consistantly pretty short, shorter than any (realistic) prime lens for the D7200. Had it been a normal zoom lens, you probably would've shot more in the middle zooms. Also, the fact that one picture is shot vertically could indicate a phone image. (Also the fact that you refered to it ad "a zoom image" makes me think it's either 1x zoom or 2x zoom that are the option). And the highlights are retained very well compared to the shadow brightness indicating HDR (dslrs tend to have skies close to white unless you pull the highlights down 100%).

Pretty reluctant to post these since they're purely more of the same as I always post but just one image of a bird isn't enough. The sun is quite high now when I wake up in the morning. Frost and stuff taken from a bus. While walking to the bus stop after work I saw this hawk sitting on a magpie. They just sat there still for like a minute. Snapped some pictures. I feel bad though because as I tried getting closer, I must've either spooked the hawk or distracted from the clever magpie because suddenly they started flying away together brawling, and the magpie managed to escape and it was my fault. Hope I didn't do any damage.

An interesting cloud front rolling in while it's simultaneously sunny and cloudy. The sky being anything but a monotone gray is a sure sign of spring.

Very nice, how deep is the ice in the harbour? 5 to 10 centimetres maybe. It's still quite cracked and at some places on Wednesday I could see water. But as the ice-breakers are being used, it must be mostly 5 cm or more. Difficult to say. A week of this severe cold and you can walk on the river ice. Would be the first time since 2012.

You have another 2 months before the days become super-long. Shouldn't be that hard especially right after you change your clocks. We also have a -0.5h noon. Current sunrise is 7.20. In one week it's below 7. I won't be waking up at 7 anytime soon. I'm more likely to watch the sunrise in Thailand. (And we'll be seeing it either on the way to Beijing or while in Beijing) lol.

We have a -0.5h noon and a 7.20 sunrise which will turn into 7.00 in a few days, and I have a larger probability ofbseeing the sunrise in Thailand. Classic!

We had a very mild December and January was well above average: ogimet.com/cgi-bin/gsynres?lang=en&ind=02773&ndays=31&ano=2018&mes=01&day=31&hora=20&ord=DIR&Send=SendThe conditions we have now is the first proper cold this winter.

I just found it funny that you couldn't manage to get up for a 7:20am sunrise. Also, of interest my sunrise is after 7:30am, still pitch black at 7am.

Yes, I can see that. I haven't been paying attention to Scandinavian weather.

Pretty significantly earlier than yours then even at 64N. And I was snappy because there were quite a lot of different things that I said in the post, so your "lol." was pretty vague.
