Nah, the subarctic March ruins any chance of a B Check this one out. 2016 might be a borderline B-. Hell, 2015 from April onwards might even be an A

December and 2017 Trondheim and some other places in Norway Dec 24-hr mean at Trondheim Airport Værnes based on 1986-2015 is -0.8c, and was -1.5c based on 1961-90. A fairly mild winter, cold spring - particularly April, the summer was a disappointment to me - especially Aug, Sep was warm and nice. Nov on the cold side and cloudy. Max snow depth in Dec was 11 cm, mean snow depth 2 cm. Drammen near Oslo. Max snow depth in Dec was 14 cm, mean snow depth 6 cm. Seaboard S coast Sunhours in some months from Landvik when lacking data from Kristiansand The rain capital had a record wet summer second wettest year. Gullfjellet (345 m) near Bergen recorded 5 meter rain in 2017 Far into the Arctic Circle, coldest May for 20 years. But where is the really cold winter temps? Max snow depth in Dec was 78 cm (snow depth recorded 100 m asl) and mean snow depth 58 cm. Another mild Dec in Longyearbyen, 8.5c above normal (61-90).

Countrywide stats:
Average temperature: 1,3°C Record high: 7,3°C Record low: -8,4°C (lol) Precipitation: 78 mm Sunshine: 19 h
So more than three degrees above average, nearly 150% normal precipitation, mostly in rain, and a pathetic record low. Sunshine was average but my god, what a piece of shit month this was. I don't even care about the rest of the winter anymore, just give some March sunshine.

Man, the rest of Europe seems to regularly get +4'C deviations in summer months, whereas we have only got four 2'C+ summer months in total in the last 15 years. The rest of Europe seems to get whole summers with 2'C+ deviations every year lol.
And also, why is it that we can be HORRIBLY below average from April-August but we can't even manage being average or slightly above average from May-August? I wanna see a 14, 19, 22, 20 May-August average high. And it seems most summer months that are average or above average have low diurnals

Just December for now. Perhaps would have been better to do in a separate thread? We could have a vote on that next year Hawarden looked unusually swingy. I've seen those warmth spikes before but surely those cold hits in the same month as those warmth spikes hit are pretty rare?
