Who expects April to be like June? I expect April to be like April; ~6 hrs sunshine a day, dry and settled conditions with temps in the mid-teens. Not overcast and rainy with temps struggling to get above 10-12c. First week of April in London would average around 12-13°C not mid teens. It's hardly surprising that once in a while it struggles to reach 12°C. Sorry about the rain. It's been nice and sunny here. We're heading into mid April and we have hardly seen any days in the mid teens we would expect a good few days of spring warmth at this point... But most if all have been pugged below 15c which is unusual. |

All of the people in this thread who constantly expect April to be just like June and then throw a fit when the law of averages kicks in: what gives? Comments like that are needed on the forum Babu eh? What are you, special or something? This place used to be more fun, but it's a shame to see ego creeping back in and people who have to be right all the time. |

I live in a Grade II listed building which is beyond what you will ever have the chance to live in - and have no trouble heating the rooms I need heated. I never go on CD any more; and if I use netweather, for example, it is to read the Model Output so I can see what weather we are going to get. Well that was an interesting read! In other news it looks like summer (NOT SPRING) SUMMER will be arriving next week.  I'm so happy hopefully it extends to the weekend after and we can get some thundery downpours? Would be nice to get a dramatic temperature change.  *drools* Normally don't get excited about summer weather but I'll be nice to feel warmth on my skin and actually see the trees green up. |
