Just had the best storm I've had in a while! Maybe since some time last year. Kind of surprised that no warnings were issued. Some quick, strong wind gusts as the storm arrived and during the storm. Branches down from trees. A number of lightning strikes, but not as much as with convective storms. The main thing was the wind. Not really a lot of rain, maybe half an inch.

Nor'easter number 3 expected to only brush the area with minor snow accumulations. Still enough to potentially cause some challenges on the roads.

Was a very warm and humid day today, highs were 87 F, 88 F, and 88 F at FXE, FLL and HWO respectively, with dew points in the upper 60s. More like mid-late May than early-mid March. Storms tonight and tomorrow out ahead of a cold front, before temps drop big time tomorrow night with a predicted low of 51 F.

Got into the mid-80's today after a low of 68F this morning. Will be keeping a close eye on potential severe weather tomorrow

Really nice past couple of days. Most areas saw subfreezing lows give way to 15C+ highs today. Could hit 18-19C tomorrow.

More snow in the forecast, and still no 60s or 70s in sight. In fact our daytime temps for the next 10 days are on par with Minneapolis. What a nice March this is turning out to be, one of the benefits of a coastal lag.

Always happy to see snow and cold weather but its Mid-March... Its an already below average March and by this time I'm sure I normally see more flowers, leafs on trees etc.

Forecast looks like January. March sucks.
More snow tonight into tomorrow, but at least Iโll get a snow day and the spring sunshine will quickly obliterate whatever falls.

If there could be an even colder month between January and February, that's what our March forecast looks like from next weekend

Has been rather stormy here today out in front of a cold front, had a storm strong enough to knock out power earlier today, and FXE recorded a funnel cloud in the last OBS w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KFXE.htmlWe got some of that storm here too, wasn't too long lasting but it brought heavy rain, strong winds, and lightning. Days like this are fun, lol.

Well, just when a few 40s were shown in the forecast yesterday with one day at 50, now is showing ONE DAY at just 43 (6 C). And after that, RIGHT BACK DOWN TO FUCKING 30-35 degree highs and more SNOW AND CLOUDS. And before the cold days were around 35, now theyโre DOWNGRADED TO 28-33 . WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET A BREAK? These are TEN DAY forecasts Iโm looking at, so this JANUARY..I mean March...WILL NOT GET HIGHER THAN 43 in the first TWENTY FUCKEN ONE DAYS AND LIKELY MORE . Our AVERAGE high for March is 43 . And I doubt we get an overshoot, if anything that one pitiful day gets downgraded and doesnโt even hit 40. I AM SO FUCKING DONE WITH THIS BORING ASS COLD SHIT WEATHER THAT NEEDS TO GET THE FUCK OUT!!! I understand some people want cold weather, and in summer, winter and fall I totally understand but it PISSES ME OFF when everyone is still cold foaming in March YOU ALREADY HAD YOUR WINTER. MARCH SHOHLD NOT BE A WINTER MONTH BUT HERE WE ARE FOR THE 5th TIME IN FUCKING 6 YEARS WITH A BELOW AVERAGE โMARCHโ Coldies get ready, your dicks are gonna be sore from all the wanking youโre gonna be doing as we get ANOTHER GODDAMN WEEK OF FUCKING 33 AND SNOW IN A โSPRING MONTHโ. KILL ME NOW!! This is officially the WORST MONTH EVER . At least February 2015 was interesting and March 2014 and 2015 had some variability not just mind numbingly boring, unpleasant, useless, shitty weather for almost the WHOLE FUCKING MONTH. WHATEVER WEATHER PATTERN WE HAVE NOW DESERVES TO GET FUCKED IN THE ASS EVERY FUCKING DAY WHILE GETTING BEATEN, STABBED, BURNED, and whatever torture there is. FUCK ME DEAD!!!!! One more thing: RENAME THIS THE WINTER 2017-2018 THREAD BECAUSE THIS IS NOT FUCKING SPRING

My God, you'd have a heart attack if you read the Model Output Thread in the netweather.tv forums over here. Full of cold rampers bigging up the easterly about to hit us.

You sound like me back in late November and early December when we were struggling to go below 65-70 F even at night. Fucking pathetic.

You sound like me back in late November and early December when we were struggling to go below 65-70 F even at night. Fucking pathetic. I always keep saying this, but in a climate like Northeast US, March/April are the two months of the year where you're just sick of the cold and want something new for a change. Even Cambium usually wants warm weather these two months Besides, this forecast isn't even particularly cold, just 10F below average and incredibly cloudy. It's not even exciting. This isn't a good pattern if you want extreme cold, only if you want stable oceanic crap that you would find in Scandinavia

For September and the first half of October, the chances of a cold front is practically zero. Always annoying when it's been hot for 5-6 months and there's zero chance of cool weather on the horizon. I get you though. I can see how March and April are frustrating if you want it consistently mild/warm. Noticeably drier here now, dew point has dropped from 73 F to 60 F in the past two hours. Current temp 73 F right now as opposed to 81 F before the front.

If we're lucky there could be a cold blast just in time for the equinox. The GFS determinist is isolated though.
