40.6°N Best: Vlorë, Albania (40.5°N) Worst: Jiuquan, China (39.8°N) It was a very close race between Vlorë, Naples, and Redding (California) for the best climate. The worst climate was a very easy choice, however.

Do you really prefer Uppsala? Aren't the winters too warm for you? And Turku is sunnier? I'd have thought Turku would be your favorite due to the higher continentality.

Wouldn't Palm Springs or Phoenix be your favorite? Perhaps even Death valley?

Wouldn't Palm Springs or Phoenix be your favorite? Perhaps even Death valley? This is for the Southern Hemisphere at my latitude. For the northern 34* latitude, definitely Phoenix. One of the all-time legendary climates in the world.

Actually, I'm torn on this one. Uppsala's winters are going into the wrong direction. I was thinking about Oslo too, but those sun hours are a bit poor. Maybe Helsinki Airport then.

Worst: Bergen Best: Churchill
Churchill may be a bit too cold in the summer but it's still an impressive climate for the latitude.

Saritra, how do you feel about the climate of Alma, CO? I feel like I've asked you before but whatever. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alma,_Colorado#Climate Alma (and Leadville, which you also mentioned at one point I think) are both too cold even for me. Despite my love of winter, I do like to have at least one month where the average amount of snow is 0!

34S
Best: Sydney Worst: There's a mountain in the Andes called Cerro Colina apparently, which is over 5000m high. Conditions must be shocking there.

Worst in the northern hemisphere would probably be Prince Christansund, Greenland. Look at those awful summers. The winters are quite mild but they never end, they last from october till may. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Christian_SoundBest climate is Ørebro. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96rebroBoth may and september are impressive with almost summerlike daytime highs. The winter is pleasantly mild and doesn't last that long either. Both november and march have a high of 5 C.

Never seen Prince Christian Sound before, that's one ludicrous climate, just imagine the snowfall totals? Something tells me Saritra would absolutely adore those winters though with that snowfall and those low diurnals

Lower the precipitation and the winters are great - summers are a fail though.

At least they speak your native language there Or do they have some weird East Asian accent of Russian? Russian accent actually doesn't change much, even in Ukraine or Central Asia. Altho for some reason when Russians move abroad their accent tends to become really mixed and weird. I thought I was the only one but now I realized it happens with many Russians lol The Korean and Chinese ppl in my uni say Vladivostok is very beautiful! So maybe if you ignore the climate its a nice city to visit
