Chicago is suffering its 9th coldest start to October of all time (records going back to 1872)! And the coldest since...just four years ago, 2014. That's a surprise
Chicago hasn't passed 52F so far this November, which is nuts, and only happened once before...in 2017. Wtf

Nothing extreme here though, so far only about -1F below average. Could fall farther thanks to our Turdsgiving Day weather

Average temp this time of year in NYC is 11/5C. TWC is forecasting -3/-9C for Thanksgiving. Not exaggerating, but this has to be like a million Standard Deviations away from average

NWS is forecasting 21/9 (-6/-13 C) for thanksgiving!
Theyโll be a return to average conditions on the weekend but the month will still finish well below average.
Thereโs already been 10.5โ (26 cm) of snow this month and thereโs more in the forecast. The consistent cold and stability this month has sucked but all the snow makes up for it.

Gee nothing like this here, but the weather was nonetheless wintry today, with a mere 2.7ยฐC high and intermittent snow in the morning. Nothing on the ground in the city tho, Meteo France was wishcasting.
I swear one of the houses on the street is heated with coal. It smelled like effing Krakow when I passed by this evening.

RGEM is showing a bit of snow here Wednesday!? The NAM last night was showing snow down to south Louisiana but has since backed off from showing any in Louisiana. Local meteorologist mentioned that there is a very low chance of some wintry mix. Never maded snow accumulation in Alexandria in November in recorded history. Did you end up seeing snowflakes from this? I know it snow in Greenville, MS and possibly as far south as NE Louisiana, any flurries in Alexandria?

lake effect clouds always lead to exciting skies in the Berkshires and the rest of western New England, especially when part of a cold front

5.8/-0.4ยฐC and rather windy today, nice. Maybe a layer tommorrow? Temps a tad too warm and low intensity should prevent it imho. what'd you end up getting?

There were reports of flurries in the town across the Red River from Alexandria, but I don't think anything fell at my house. In Monroe, LA (northeast part of state) there was light snow accumulation on grass and roofs.
