2021 NH Spring/SH Fall Photo Thread (spoilers please!)

^ not my dog, it was just running around alone.








^ today I was looking for this plant, it's the sprouts of wild hops. It grows spontaneously in this season and it's quite good with eggs. However, my camera seems to have decided that the stone wall and wood structure behind it was much more interesting and deserved all the focus.


^ nice spot for a tree house


^ this is one of the typical vineyards paths around the village


^ sign reminding that the fire risk is high. This is particularly true right now, the terrain is much drier than how the green grass in the previous pictures could suggest.


^ I'm quite sure that deer are used to pass from here, there was a sort of narrow path in the ground and I've always been told that they are the ones eating the bark of small trees like that one in winter.


^ I went down to the river this time, not much water in there either.

There were lots of these scattered around in the forest. Prolly used by hunters?
