This is a thread dedicated to posting photographs of yours from September 1st onwards, and be sure to add spoilers for posts with many photos to make this thread more readable for some of you who may have slower Internet. I know these are a bit repetitive but here's a view from home for a start--above a valley this evening (I find sunsets to be pretty cool FWIW); you can clearly see the coast with the relatively haze-free skies, and note the high clouds offshore. Edit: Here's another pic of wispy cirrus clouds after sunset, at nautical twilight:

I'm not sure any of you will find this interesting, but I'll post 'em anyways. Cool sunset this evening with sun shining at the high clouds I wank to beautiful Mediterranean sunsets. Bellissima

Nice fluffy clouds these days. Looks like being in a Canaletto painting, except it's not Venice. 29°C/18°C and some thunder to be heard yesterday

Went camping with some friends in Red Feather Lakes last night. Campsite was about 8000’. Played the disc golf course near there yesterday afternoon but didn’t do any hiking unfortunately (except the 0.5 miles from the parking lot to the site). Anyway, nice view from the campsite: Not the best sunset but still pretty:

Not quite fall like scenery, but certainly felt like fall this labor day weekend in the Laurel highlands & the Pittsburgh area. I wanted to go to Ohiopyle falls, but it was closed and I was turned back. Therefore I just walked on the allegheny trail and then headed out to Cole run falls: Great allegheny passage trail: The Allegheny Mountains: Laurel Hill Creek: Waterfall in full flow: A Rainbow: Waterfall view from the woods: Road crossing the Monengahela river: After resting at my relatives place in Bethel Park near Washington PA, I went to the Montour trail, which certainly had something interesting for railfans Some natural shots along the montour trail:

I went for a walk this evening while it was 27C out - quite possibly our last real warm day of the year, as the forecast shows us descending into more seasonal (high teens/low 20s) temperatures for the next couple of weeks, and after that it's unlikely to be reaching the upper 20s again. We're starting to get some noticeable yellow leaves here and there, however the grass is actually greener now than it was in mid-summer thanks to our stretch of cooler, wetter weather recently.

went up Mansfield for sunset. Didn't sleep there, what do you think Yahya Sinwar looks sleepable? how does it compare to the peak you went up at sunset

Some pics from, and near my favorite beach of southern Sicily around noon: Calamosche Beach, part of the Vendicari Nature Reserve. Temp was in the upper 70s at the time despite the cloudiness. The trail leading to it

Went out to the East End of LI for the weekend.
Passing Pine Barrens on Sunrise Highway. This is where they record the crazy low temperatures. Great for radiational cooling.
Beach at sunset, around 7pm. Water temps at 72-73 and air 70, so water felt relatively warm.

Went down to Cassibile River & Cavagrande del Cassibile, through the Scala Cruci staircase this afternoon—a bit of an exhausting hike down/up, but impressive canyon views and the water's swimmable. Views above the canyon
